So I got banned, what's the best way back to 50?

No.
There is no way to reach 1-50 quickly and easily.
You'll have to invest some of your time, the Bot won't do all the work for you and it'll also prevent you from getting banned.
Do short Botting sessions no longer than 2-3 hours each. Check the Bot every 20-30 minutes (or more often) to make sure it didn't get stuck, stopped working, got dced or maybe the game crashed.
If you get reported, run to the Judge and remove the debuff. I'd recommend to do the first few levels yourself and then start the Bot.
Once 30, you'll have to take your Quests manually and set up a Grinder in quest areas.

If you want to play actively on your main, I'd recommend not to use any Grinder/Questing plugin unless you're monitoring them and not keeping them running for too long at once.
I am planning to start using certain Add-on plugins on my main, but nothing that'll control the character for me.
