So I am a complete idiot, need help

I have sitting and sifting through countless forums trying how to make combat bot / lazyraider work correctly for me.

I just want to use a plug in that will keep corruption and agony on my target while I have full control. I get the concept and and kinda understand how the routines/ profiles work.

My problem is that every time i turn the bot on it goes balls to the wall on my target, blowing Cool downs and straight up taking control.

I am contributing this to the "singular" profile / routine, Its just my stupid self does not know how to turn it off or use it properly. I feel really, really stupid and its frustrating the hell out of me that I can't understand how to get this to work. can anyone help me? I know its probably really easy, but I have no idea what I'm doing.
 
first of all i would recommend Enyo as botbase for raiding(i personally used it)
well then try out some custom routines? for example demonic got a free-version, i used this routine and its much better to set things how you like them. You can personalize ur cooldowns so the bot wont go ham on a random mob, same as customize how and when to use
i guess you wont find a routine which you can de-/active every single skill so he just uses agony/corruption but i mean you use "lazy"-raider so why dont go full lazy(like me) and play with a full routine which does everything? with some customized things like using cooldowns on the right moment by person

I play warlock as well, and I use Enyo + Demonic (Premium, but free is also very good) for raiding.
The bot doesn't move at all, and I can with ctrl-E (custom bind, can be anything) change if AOE is enabled or not.
With Demonic you can't turn Unstable Affliction, Drain Soul and (I think) Haunt off, but you can customize cooldowns, pets and talents to pretty much any need (I have it all turned off and use it manually).
If you want to raid, do not use Singular. It's designed to level. Demonic is amazing for PVE and PVP if you ask me.

i read the thread and there are some good suggestions there. however. you sound a little lost on how to actually change the settings.

open wow, attach hb, then click the button highlighted in the image. this is how you get to the actual CR setup windows. Many CRs have complex multiple page setups. take your time, read, study, try to work out what each button, setting does by trial and error.
 
thanks for the replies, Been sitting here looking through a lot of things, starting to get the hang of, got it so the bot does't go ham on my 1st mob I target.

Honestly I am looking for a set up for RBGs, I want something that will keep dots up while I focus on fear, haunt for hard switches / single target, and control my dark soul. Looking in to demonic right now
 
well with demonic you can configure all this, having dots active and just disable fear in the class so you can use it when you want ;) and also dont forgot to configure the "stop honorbuddy on manueluser-thingy" else you will just fuck up the routine by trying to play x)
 
where is that stop honorbuddy on manual thing, i cant find it in bot config
