Hiya havent been around for new content patches and i was wondering what gets broken with hb and gb when a new content patch is released, profiles? Assuming hb does until a patch for it comes out. Are plugins going to need to be rewritten? should we stop using hb right after a content patch until stuff gets rewritten?
 
lol.... HB won't work when a new patch comes out.
 
So yeah im assuming we wait for a patch for hb. Do profiles also need to be modified after a patch?
 
Its a little more complicated than just putting up a patch. Alot of things will be changing as with any expansion. HB will probably be down for a bit. Even then, CC's will need to be rewritten as well as any quest/farming profiles that will be created.
 
Yeah I understand it will take some time, will there need to be new profiles made? Also is our membership now going to need to be upgraded (pay more) for HB to work in mop? Tried searching the forums but I can't seem to find anything relevant.
 
honorbuddy wont cost more, it will be down for a few weeks maybe months who knows. people will need to be quick on updating the CCs, and HB will probably be buggy as hell in the MoP zones for a while.

Also the old profiles will not need to be rewritten, just new ones for the mop zones.
 
The team will do everything we can to make it a smooth transition but who knows what could happen. We will have a few dedicated people to every system to make it as fast as possible. Hopefully the mesh side of things will be better this expansion.
 
Awesome thanks for the responses. So is it reasonable to believe non mop zones will still be functional?

since the wow core is changed, when HB is fixed it will work... but all the adresses and stuff, I don't know much of this :)
