Slow windows Start Up

When I have Honorbuddy bot and Kicks SVN folder installed in my windows 7 pc the start up (boot up) is slowed down a lot.

If I delete them and clean the registry my boot up is fast and normal again.

What causes this slow boot up problem?

What causes this slow boot up problem?

The only thing that I can think of is that you have a virusscanner installed with on-boot scan enabled. HB and Kicks together is quite a number of files and if something wants to scan all that before continuing that might cause a delay.
HB itself doesn't do anything at boot-time so that's definitely not the problem.
