Thought I'd post it here as I'm not getting much support in the 'support' forum.

So I had this issue before and I still have it...
I'm having extremely slow levelling times whilst botting on my Paladin
On the thread asking which is the fastest method of getting to 85, the majority of the votes were hurled at Questing.
I'm currently using Kickz' 1-85 profiles and I don't know whats going wrong. From 58-60 I farmed the Hellfire Ramparts dungeon and Honorbuddy said I was averaging about 500k xp an hour. I then went on towards the Outland and started up the questing bot, and in 30 minutes it's only managed to get 110k xp. I find this extremely low and I don't know what the problem is considering other people say they got to 85 using Kickz profiles in like 3 days?!
Can someone give me some help please, should I download a profile? I'm using the default Singular CC.
I'm now on the TBC profiles and they're still no better. My bot was running backwards and forth from east to west of Zangarmarsh, not flying and genuinely being slow. I'm now in terrokar forest and the bot keeps taking my paladin to the flight master in shattrah and not picking anywhere to fly.
This is a complete nightmare. It's not the fact that it's a bot and not a human, its the fact that other people say theyve gotten from 1-65 in like 4 days of using this bot and ive been using it 3 days and only gone from 47-64, botting around 8 hours a day and taking 1hr+ each level which I think is ludicrous.

Here's the logs

220k per hour (110k per 30 min) is not that bad assuming you don't have any rested bonus/guild bonus/heirlooms. Most of the people who level to 85 in 3 days are using a combination of experience bonuses to get the best results.

Keep in mind the profiles are not perfect. I've had some vastly different experiences, depending on my faction, starting zone and class choice. For instance, my Orc Shaman blazed through the starter zone in no time at all whilst my Dwarf Shaman died a lot and took a much longer time.

It also seems that Alliance toons do better on the Outland part of the profile. Zangaramarsh seems to give a lot of people problems because of the mushrooms and random crap everywhere in that zone. Deepholm is similar.

If you still think the questing is unacceptable, try some DungeonBuddy and/or Mixed Mode with Grinding and PvP.

My advice; keep trucking along until you hit 68 then go to Northrend. It gets better, and then it gets even better in Cata zones. Hyjal, Uldam and Twilight Highlands are almost 100% AFKable.

One thing that jumps out at me immediately in the log is:

Code:
[20:32:03:577] [Singular] We have no food/drink. Waiting to recover our health/mana back
[20:34:26:404] [Singular] We have no food/drink. Waiting to recover our health/mana back
[20:34:43:238] [Singular] We have no food/drink. Waiting to recover our health/mana back
[20:34:56:846] [Singular] We have no food/drink. Waiting to recover our health/mana back
[20:36:31:163] [Singular] We have no food/drink. Waiting to recover our health/mana back
[20:37:53:562] [Singular] We have no food/drink. Waiting to recover our health/mana back

etc

Might want to load yourself up with food/drink if you're taking that much of a beating.

I'm in a level 25 guild and fully heirloomed so i should be expecting more really. The thing is about that you say Alliance toons do better in outland, my toon IS alliance and still giving me a lot of grief.

My bot tends to complete quests and then just stand around for a while as wlel

When running HB, select the "debug" tab to view, then the next time the bot is "standing around" have a look at the entries that are being displayed in there to get an idea on the reason why it's standing around. That will give you a basis for searching the forum to find solutions that others may have posted for the same problem.

Any more ideas? Getting around 220k xp an hour still in a level 25 guild + fully heirloomed

By doing that you'll be able to see where your downtime is or where you feel it should be improved and search the forum for solutions, e.g. I replied to another of your threads quoting your log which was showing a lot of stopping to replenish health so I suggested adding food and water to your bags before running it.

There's nothing under the debug tab that explains it.

For me I watch the bot and as soon as it's doing something I don't feel is correct I check the Debug tab to see what it's trying to do, whether it's because the bot is standing still for ages (downloading tiles, trying to summon a pet even though one's out, resting but has no food/water, can't figure out how to get to the location it needs etc) or even something as simple as a 3 second pause before looting.

If the debug tab isn't showing you anything useful, stop the bot directly after it's done something weird and check the log to see what it thought it was doing.

Unfortunately a description such as 'not getting enough xp/hr' doesn't give any clues as to the problem and nobody can see what your bot's doing except you. Yes people can trawl through an hour's worth of log file to try and find time gaps but that's fairly time consuming when it's something you could start learning to do and which would end up saving you time in future because you'll know immediately what the issue is to fix it there and then or report it as a bug. :)

Hello Deehjay. I have been running kicks profiles for a long time and for that reason I have alot of experience with each class and I have it pretty much down to a science. Each plugin and option you use will greatly depend on the time it takes you to level. Like Scattered said either make sure you have food and drinks in your bags or lower the health/mana to elevate stopping after being attacked every time. That alone will save you boatloads of time.

I also often times uncheck 'loot mobs" but I know exactly where I can and cannot have this done because I have ran the profiles so many times. This will also keep you from stopping so much. All in all, there is no flawless way to do it yet but I have figured out the fastest ways to go from 1-85 in a few days with only 2 BoA's as I described above. Often times when I feel like its taking too long in an area or it just keeps getting stuck, I'll toss on Archaeology buddy and let it rip for a couple hours to clear the area it was having trouble in.

Hope this helps.

[13:48:54:025] [Singular] Mob is evading. Blacklisting

Looks like you sat there attacking an evading mob for over 30 minutes. That's really nothing HB can resolve though.

got my toon up to 85 with kicks profile with nps and 7days Played time.....
also no guild help no yellow gear

Thanks for the help. I also untick loot mobs and everything else under that section in hopes to greatly increase xp/hr but it comes to no avail, and I also have it set to use flight paths etc as well but still no faster. I'll try downloading your CC, but I'm just genuinely frustrated with this haha, was expecting a bit more for ?20

Downloaded this CC and also turn on the option to 'Kill Between Hotspots' - It's going very well so far. Up to 365k/hr now!!

Good news for you finally :)

Are you using Combat bot or Questing?

Questing, I was told that Blizzard kept track of grinding quite hard so I'm gonna refrain from just purely grinding mobs and continue the option for the Questing bot to kill between hotspots.
I'm in Northrend at level 69 now and getting 550k/hr, I think I've finally been served justice!

Very nice stats indeed! I'm also questing with my shadow priest and getting abysmal xp/hr so playing with different cc's, plugins etc to try and squeeze a little more out of it. Could simply be that my guy's using up too much mana and having to drink every 2-3 mobs :(
