Singular PvP FrostFire Mage (Always in the top 3 damage dealer - 68% win)

There is a Golden Lotus daily where you receive a silence buff. When the bot does this quest, it will start spamming Ice Barrier non-stop and get stuck. Is there a way to add in a check for this type of situation?

i renamed the original files to <name>.cs.BAK and copied the new files to the directory

doing so has always worked in the past.

Same for me, I switched out living bomb for frost bomb in the spec and it now correctly casts frost bomb.

yep looking at the code its set up for frost bomb you can go in and change it if u want open frost.cs in notepad and ctl+f type frost bomb and change it to living bomb

i also have a question to a coder how do i change this line

for some reason since the update to HB.515 this CC casts molten armor instead of frost armor

I've been using this for lvl 85-87, and the bot hasn't cast Living bomb even once :<, other than that it works quite good. Would be nice if more than 2 mobs where on you, the bot would cast Frost Nova and move away/For lowhealth mobs use AE or something .

Take out: Spell.Cast("Spellsteal", ret => StyxWoW.Me.CurrentTarget != null && StyxWoW.Me.CurrentTarget.Buffs != null), if you don't want him to cast it at all.

how is this in arena?

So tonight i tried this profile quick in arena for the hell of it, my mage is badly geared full dread no chants and a 450 iL wep. Low mmr btw, my partner died early in the arena and vs a ret frost mage, the bot whooped the shit outta both of them.... sadly but yes it worked great, i used it under combat bot, and had to manually run it out of the gates and attack the target, but after that it goes by its self, it does also pre buff and stuff

Set-Up for MoP 5.0.5a :
15 - Presence of Mind
30 - Ice Barrier
45 - Ice Ward
60 - Cold Snap
75 - Living Bomb
90 - Incanter's Ward

Glyphs (optional for Bot, Mandatory to manual PvP -> Not having glyphs might be suspicious):
-Deep Freeze
-Spellsteal
-Evocation

-Momentum
-Mana Gem
-Penguin

This bot is focusing on surviving by spamming Ice Barrier - Ice ward - Incanter's Ward on cooldown.
First attack is always living bomb (instant frostfirebolt proc).
Uses Brainfreeze procs.
It shatters in a somewhat clever manner (Wont use Ice Lance with Fingers of Frost on an already frozen target).
Wont Deep Freeze a target is already stunned OR silenced.
Wont Deep Freeze WITH Fingers of Frost IF the target is frozen by another spell (Frost nova - Pet Freeze)
Interrupts spells (random ones for now. I thought about making a list of spells to interrupt but it would take forever - Will think about that tho.)
Uses effective cooldowns ON cooldown (Mirror Image - Icy Veins - Time Warp (if more than 3 enemies around) - Frozen Orb (Fingers of Frost proc-fest))
Attempt to spellsteal before casting useless frostbolts.

I hope I'll get some good feedbacks - Might make other Routines if people enjoy mines.

Installation -> \Routines\Singular\ClassSpecific\Mage\ -> Delete(make a backup if you need to) Frost and Common and copy mines to this location.

that and like a manual movement for arena, if you could implement manual movement, poly, and silence onto another target rather then the current it would be epic. the rotation is mint. like as far as silence goes a smart silence for rather heals or like chaos bolts and stuff

Im also using this to pvp on my 90 mage, i see it standing spamming spell steal until oom some times, usually on targets with nothing to steal, then other times it works like a charm. Strange... could it be because i dont have the spell steal glyph? ill test

naw i have the spell steal glyph also, im guessing since the bot is about survivability thats one of the reasons? like as in stealing a HoT. but yeah i had that last night in arena, it spell stole a frost DK's buff that grants them a howling blast free of RP.

By all means great routine, I would love to see it go more in depth with "smart filters" or how ever you wanna call it. such as bot awareness for smart counter spells on healers within max cast range of CS, along with poly's even like when it has its shatter abilities up and ready for a poly onto healer priority if in Line of site with a blanket follow up follow up

The one thing i guess id recommend is instead of all that stuff just make it so the user can manually move, cast poly them self, Counter spell, an addition of ring of frost would be nice, could have it so it does a PoM ring when 2 or more players are grouped, or in a peel scenario

Been using this for BGs with the beta. Since the new patch and changes to Mages with manacost for Spellsteal (21% base mana cost), might want to consider changing how it is used in the routine.

BTW forgot to mention FTW! Love this routine and it certainly does wreck in regards to dmg.

I'm not sure if this particular routine is going to be kept up with or updated at any point, but I came across another routine that seems to work extremely well and is updated for 5.0.1. It also utilizes frost bomb! Link below.

Should someone more savvy with these sorts of things be able to build a hybrid of the two then...WOW GG! Mz0's seems to be a bit smarter, but the burst (even without using frost bomb) on Hauntard is nice. Were these two builds to meet, fall in love and have a baby..."VOILA!" we'd be set up with a technological Brangelina! ( Brad Pitt / Angelina Jolie )
