Single handingly altering the economy a bad idea?

Currently the price of golden lotus is 190g and goes up to 202g after around 50 stacks.

I'm thinking of purchasing the whole golden lotus stock on and raising the price to 230-250g. Do you guys think this is a good or bad idea?

Thats what i did with a friend on our Realm, after 1-2 weeks we Controlled EVRYTHING with Herbs, Flask?s, and at some points even truegold.. ppl even stopped posting there items becouse 1 of us both was allwas instant undercutting + Buying in big stock NOT from AH(so the items are not getting posted in the first place into AH)

But trust me do it on a UNKOWN char, the realm hates you for such things becouse they just cant keep up with you and are frustraded that they cant set Prices in the AH

It's a good way to make huge profits in the long run, assuming you keep up with it.
meaning, make a target price (looks like yours is 230) anything under 230, buy instantly. your shit may take a long time to sell, but if you keep up on it you still make a profit for you are selling for 230 or higher. You're going to need a lot of gold to do this.

I've made 16.3 mill gold in Cata by doing this with flasks, mysterious fortune cards, and truegold.

This used to be possible years ago now no way. With Reddit and social media Bots have became to main stream and there is way to many botters the day you buy them all up and put it for 230 some botter kid with mommy paying teh bills won't give a crap and put Golden Lotus up for 180 just to sell it fast to buy some mount or whatever fast back in the day botters would undercut by a couple of silver now lol they cut for no reason by Half its ridiiclous every time i search for an item there will be a ton of Blue listing on the % with auctioneer...
