from what i hear, the auth server is being DDoS'ed right now. Either keep trying to get your request in between the fake ones, or wait till a later time.

got it to work i had to connect sometimes when i logged on it says Sync error but stil works when you pres start i gues its being ddosed

its working now im using Norton the latest 2010 i bought it so it wasnt really the firewall its all good now and it says Honorbuddy goed that means its ok its allowed true the firewall of norton internet security 2010

I'm sure it was just sarcasm toward using Norton, most people stopped using it back in the early 90s so it's kind of a joke. New versions might be be better but they got a bad name long ago for using too much resources.

I am using windows 7 64 bit with out any issues must be somthing else. Like they said before disable your anitvirus try again it that fails disable your firewall try again if that fails try your router maybe ports are being blocked that you require.

Currently I run AVG and windows fire wall no issues.
