Yeah the frost rotation was bugged, it is now doing about the same DPS as the unholy rotation. Will be included in the next update.
 
That would be fantastic. This is the only real working dk class for me atm, it's really a nice piece of work. Please keep up the good work thanks.
 
For some reason he just keeps attacking mobs without resting at all. Just keeps going until he dies. Any Ideas?
 
The CC doesnt recognize a Combat in an Instance =(
 
Ok trying this for the 1st time, follows tank great (IB) but doesn't attack. Spec is dual wield frost will post log in a moment - having to hand play atm.

Experiancing same issue DK does not attack when in instance DW frost aswell
 
Just a confirmation, without logs at present as I'm on my shaman and not DK, that whilest inside an instance the DK will not attack but outside it works very well. When I alt over to my DK I'll make some logs to post.
 
Yeah I just tested the frost spec in an instance today and noticed it doesn't work. Will try to get a working version out tomorrow, which will also fix resting and include Death Pact in the unholy rotation.

PvP will be put in once grinding and instancing works well enough.

Awesome! I'm really looking forward to it. There hasn't been a working DK CC since I've started using HB and I really want to start farming JP.
 
From watching my Deathknight, i can say that Unholy Works perfectly and produces outstanding dps. Thanks for the CC :)
 
Uploaded new version which works with Frost in instances.
Resting should also work properly now.

much better thank you - one thing i've noticed is that Pillar of frost isn't being used think you can add this please?

and moving on to a question, does your bot enable a dual wield frost dk to use interrupt spells (not had a fight where i could monitor this yet)
 
OMG mate just used this and IB with a frost DK and OMG the DPS was awesome i was top and doing nearly 5k dps!!!

AWESOME!
ps. cant wait for the PVP release!
 
Hey fedehat, with my castsequence macro that I use for my heroic farming I pull anywhere between 7-8k dps. My gs is around 5400. I'll post what I generally use.

The castsequence rotation is (and this is frost spec): Plague Strike,Howling Blast,Blood Strike,Frost Strike,Plague Strike,Howling Blast,Frost Strike,Blood Strike,Plague Strike,Howling Blast,Frost Strike,Frost Strike,Plague Strike,Howling Blast,Frost Strike

I haven't been able to use your DK CC yet because I'm waiting on the new HB to come out for download, but maybe that can help on some general rotation ideas.

Oh yeah, on the Ambassador Cataclysm pre-launch event boss I got 13k dps using the same rotation. :D

Yes it will use Mind Freeze if it has enough RP, otherwise Strangulate.

That seems like a waste of unholy runes, using Plague Strike so much? Besides if you look at the Elitistjerks article, they say that static rotation is dead. It is all about priority casting now.
But I'll give your rotation a try once HB is updated.
