Hi. Back again posting info, regarding the time i took to learn the bot even more and avoid bans. So far so good. i won't enter in details because, well... this is private. I've had an idea that wildly occurred while i was randomly farming certain area. This idea i had it before but it wasn't that well organised now i have in mind an entire routine. I don't have the coding skill to make such thing to work unfortunately so this is why i appeal to your support (and i will pay if it's needed).
The thing is simple. Arcanist farm. And now many will say: BOOOOO!!! this will lead to a ban due to instance spamming etc. Well i'd take that risk considering is pretty safe, but again, won't talk about this, just did some research.
What is the plan?
Bot won't do anything complex. Nothing bot-like behavior.
Let's say you want a certain zone (for 1 client) Mud flats act 1 merciless. Ok. The bot will just spam that instance until it scans and find an arcanist (see exile hud for reference) when he finds the arcanist bot will stop in that zone until you come in that zone and clear. once you enter, you can resume the instance spam to generate new ones and leave the one with the arcanist already. If you want 3 bots, on 3 vmwares, to keep it simple and to be viable in the same party without much struggle, well, just use different zones, such as battlefront and city of sarn. All 3 will give you enough time to find arcanist - craft - open kill - check vware - move to the next one. and repeat. Once a bot finds it and you go and clear, you just start the bot again to resume the search for a new arcanist.

Why no ban? well i can be a troll and spam instances 24/7 to crash ggg servers. (if you're smart nothing will lead to suspicious stuff, you can be a party of trolls etc. it's all up to each one's personal research regarding bans and how to avoid)

to clarify I understand what you are wanting the bot to do:
keep making instances of the same grindzone, until it finds an arcanist strongbox
once it finds an arcanist strongbox is in the grindzone, stop the bot (without clearing mobs to the strongbox etc)

is that correct?

keep in mind, stopping the bot in a grindzone is dangerous as it would stop the combat routine also, so if a wandering mob comes past it will kill the bot who stands there doing nothing ;)
maybe town portal and then stop the bot would be a safer alternative
 
i wouldn't plan to do this for hardcore and for the sake of simplicity i wasn't planning to do anything. just to stand still, but yes. this is the routine. after i enter and kill open clear, start bot again to start spam zones until arcanist is spotted.

if the bot die i wouldn't care. and he wouldn't have enough time to die because i enter fast and kill. to find an arcanist in the zones i mentioned takes max 30 seconds.

another edit. using a portal, going to town, run to warp, would involve more bot behavior because it will repeat every arcanist box found. i suppose is better just to plain sit and wait to clear then start again.

ok a few ways this could be done:
1. search the grindzone, killing mobs as it goes
2. search the grindzone, ignoring mobs and running past them
3. not move from the waypoint. if no arcanist strongbox are found after zonining in, take the waypoint back to town and repeat

if I understand correctly, you want number 3?
 
you don't need to take waypoint back. in the last update ggg added a new thing. you can stand for example in mud flats, hold CTRL left click on mudflats and you can generate a new instance on the spot. this saves time from going to town than back to mud flats and also loading time is really fast, because the textures are already loaded from the past zone which was the same.

3 would be.-> create new instance - not move from waypoint. Preload scan, if arcane box =1 (true) bot will stop if is 0 (false) will repeat from start creating new instance.

that's all it has to do. nothing more, nothing fancy nothing unusual, nothing bot-like
 
This will get you banned real fast, 100xinstances under 5 minutes . . .

I think it is doable, but as mentioned by pushed in another thread, EB will "never" do something that a user wouldn't be able to do, aka: Know once creating an instance, if there is a x-strongbox there or not . . .
 
well a user can spam 100 instances. did this for over 10 hours a day. no ban no warn nothing. did this with several stuff. still standing. on main account, on bots. the problem is that it should be more efficient. as i said, if you read my first post, i explained why isn't a bad thing and why the ban won't happen. for ggg i'm just a random player that makes new instances.
 
They have banned people in the past for basically exactly what you are doing, read if i am not mistaken under ownedcore. Once the boxes were live, people used map hack to farm masters and boxes and a few people reported getting banned due to instance spam.

If you believe me or not, that is another thing . . .

Why you havent been banned yet, i am not sure. Maybe you have been doing this just for like a week? Most GGG is also probably out of office . . .

I am pretty sure pushed wont be supporting this, actually EB is under "Maintenance", meaning, that very little features will be added, if any at all.

Either way, it might be possible thru community plugin, thou i don't believe that nowadays EB has the API to know before clearing a zone if there is a strongbox in the instance or not (It did in the past, before the rewrite if i am not mistaken).

checked on object explorer, it can only find chests etc in a small area around the player
so it would need to either explore the grindzone until it finds an arcanist strongbox
or really spam new instances until an arcanist strongbox is right by the waypoint

are you still interested in this?
 
strange. i've mentioned about exile hud. i suppose you all know what is it. how can that stuff find any box in any map?

also.... who would report you if players don't know about your existence? and how can they see you spam instances if you only stay in the same instance? is not as before with a ton of instances and you have to swap between them. you can stay in one forever but spam it.
 
not familiar with exile hud, I went from playing PoE legitimately to exilebuddy for income when I got bored of the game ;)
and while exilehud may be able to get the info, we can only use what exilebuddy is able to access currently
 
exile hud reads memory. the function is called pre-load or sth. when you join an instance you get full info of what you have - exile master torment soul box corrupted area

isn't there a possibility to combine it with buddy to work both?

Nothing fancy? Nothing bot-like?

You are creating 100's of instances and clearing just the ones that meet a certain criteria, which no normal user would be able to know before hand. So yea, you have in 30 minutes like 100 of instances created but just cleared 10 of them . . .

You will get banned for it and EB will get a lot extra attention due this "feature".

I am strictly against such implementation and i am pretty sure Pushed will be too, he said over and over in the past that EB will not be able to do things that a human would also not be able to do (or know).
