Simple Arcane Mage 0.5

I thought I would post my combat bot I am using in raids for now. I was annoyed that while the default rotation singular offered for fire was good enough not to suck at lfr, it was awful as an arcane mage.

So I built this combat bot. Its not perfect though, gui will be put in latter but I put the setting defaults at the top if you want to change. You will also see a bunch of commands for fire as that's what I was going with first, but once I figure out how to detect talents and specs, it will auto config.

Right now, if you start it up, it will cast Ice Barrier, put down rune of power and then living bomb. Then it keeps casting Arcane Blast till it gets two stacks of missiles and fires one missile off, then fires all the missiles off when it hits 6 stacks and then barrage. I have some temp configs that change the max stacks before it drops them but I think I need to overhaul the rotation as you have WAY to much mana.

It doesn't use your trinkets arcane power or alter time so its NOT a good substitute for a serious raid, but its not bad for moving your guy around in lfr and killing stuff while you do stuff on your account

I am messing with with the rotation this weekend so I should have something a bit more solid latter. I have been fire for about 2 years now so switching to arcane in a week is new for me

PS - Ok, updated it to detect your talents but doesn't do anything with it yet. It now uses Arcane Power, and burns though till a set percent and slows dps till its back up.

after trying it i'd say its a good start. few things that i noticed, it doesnt do spellsteal, does not cast nether tempest or arcane barrage and maybe it should cast rune before pulling,
then ice barrier only if health is below certain percentage. needs mirror image when adds are pulled. if u have used clu maybe u could have some idea to make it more awesome. This cc is still good though.

Yea I was using it mainly as a lazybot replacement and experment with CombatBot. I am working on the fire version now, that will read damages from lua, but thats taking time

Hope this cc gets updated often most the mage ccs become abandon.

cos i'm starting to get gear on my arcane for LFR and i can't find a good Arcane CR.

Even CLU i can only find specific for Fire, which sucks because it casts Frost Armor instead of Mage Armor.

And this is just one of the things. It also doesnt use the trinkets like Flashfrozen Resin Globule.

I'm going to look into writing a decent combat routine.. While I don't know much about them at the moment, I'm a fast learner.. It might take a while before i can code in advanced features, but i should be able to get some basic functional rotations set up and working pretty quick.

In the meantime, I would suggest pure CR as it's got support for all 3 mage specs right now, and is working ok as far as i can tell. .I'm doing TOT raiding with it and performing fine, using tyreal.

Good luck, Singular is better than nothing for now. I'd like to see easy on/off aoe for those times when jerks want to try and force flag my bot. >.<
