[ShuffleBuddy] A bot that will prospect and DE!

Putting the profile out there, saying fully customizable(<-- correct spelling) and not helping with customizing! Wow your a good profile maker!

Someone's mad? I just made a simple release free of charge to the public..
Out of 111 downloads in a week, we should count how many new likes and comments i've gotten.. 0 likes, 6 comments, so why would i add more features when the work doesn't seem appreciated.

Because you are lying and not helping anybody, and being rude. That's why nobody will like anything.
 
If you noticed TheMaff's location is now bothaven. It looks like a lot of profile makers are joining the haven to make profits from making profiles. This is not a slam on bothaven at all so don't twist my words, I love the work that is found there. Also TheMaff mentions this is a "free public version," therefore, indicating that there is a paid version with more customization somewhere out there. Probably the one found on the haven made by Inrego. With that said, people will probably won't get much support for this free profile besides just making it work. And will probably be told by the profile maker to either, "pay up" or the most common answer, "learn to make your own damn profiles, have a nice day."

Where can we find the paid version? And where can I find a tutorial to make my own profiles?
 
I am not here to claim any association or endorsement of the location of this paid version. But you can check out TheMaff's location on his profile. Again, I just want to reiterate that this forum is not a marketplace so I will not get into much detail into that subject.

As for tutorials you can check out the Guides section of the forum or the ask in the Developer forum for help. There is also a guide document that comes with ProfessionBuddy botbase that you can read through to get started.
 
You guys got it completely wrong..

1. There is no Shufflebuddy on the site and there won't be any.

2. The public release is a simple release, because it doesn't really feel like the work is appreciated.. (I spendt hours on coding and testing it and yet only verry few ppl will either comment, like or rep).

3. The private version is not getting shared atm, and only i have a copy of it. (I see it as a project for myself right now as well).

4. My profile and Inrego's profile, is not the same and the code is different. = A great example on why i would say "it's free of charge" since this profile costs 0$.

5. I'm working on this in my free time and when i feel like it. I do actually play the game, when i'm not studying.

I hope this clears it up..

What am i lying about? I'm helping with as much as i can but when i make the profile i decide what things to put in it.. example: If the blue rings on my server is worth less than the actual shard i get from disenchanting i don't want to add it for the simple fact that i got something else to do.

If you as a person, would like to have something added right away, read the guides/ask in dev forum. Just don't share it since this is my profile(code) It's okey to make edits but you can only release it if you have permission from the creator.

Thanks for releasing MoP version with both factions, I'm trying it out on my horde JC in orgrimmar right now!
 
Thanks for the clarification Maff. I know you do good work and I know I am only one person, but I really appreciated what you did with this profile when I first started using in Cata. Just sad to see that I would have to buy (not yours) a JC Shuffle profile somewhere else. But like they say, "either pay up or shut up (or learn yourself)." At this time I have more time than money. Hopefully I can learn from your previous code and make my own private one for myself.
 
I posted some feedback in my pm, but I would also want to add that my JC is runing between JC vendor and mailbox - altho I put the settings to mail all the enchanting mats to one of my alts.

PB 1.512: Mail retrieval of items:AllItems finished

EDIT: Restarted the bot and now it works just fine!

I did read your PM facedark but it's hard to tell just from a statement. A log would help alot more.

Personally i don't have a horde with JC/Enchanting so i can't really tell how it's working out.. But assuming i used the XYZ locations from my previous release it should work like my alliance one does :cool:.


For your PM: I usually just start it in SW and it should either fly or run to where it should buy settings or get items from the mail.

Does not work. He just keeps trying to take out mail, but can't for some reason. I then took out all the mail manually and restarted the bot, however, he still keeps trying to take out mail.

You're having alot of compile errors, did you try a fresh HB install and then run the profile? (If there is an issue again please post a log)

Yes I'm horde and standing in Dalaran.

I have lost the log because this happened yesterday, but I will try again later and attach a log for ya :)



EDIT - My toon only has Enchanting if that helps? (I mail him all the necks and rings from my other toon)

Can the bot only withdraw ore from the mailbox?

Aha dalaran that can be the problem :P If you read the thread again, after i updated it, it says it only works in Orgrimmar and Stormwind.

Oh I see. Kinda confused by this:

"ShuffleBuddy v0.7 MoP 5.0 fix.xml - ONLY WORKS IN Dalaran. Carnelians are not added since the Anvils in Dalaran are not working for some reason. If the bot stop with an error right after hitting start just start it again."


I'll give V1.0 a try after I've finished milling these herbs :)

Great :p Remember to download Shufflebuddy v1.0 that's the only version with MoP ID's

Anvils in Dalaran work - you have to use the one right next to the auctioneer @ engineering trainer
 
for those who wants i have a MoP shuffle Dalaran version "basically shufflebuddy V1 but for dalaran" if you want it just send me a pm.


edit : the dal version is attached below.. only tested for horde. if any problems with ally's send me a pm.
