Show me your 1100 IPH monk / WD

spent about a bil on barb bots. 1100 iph 3-4 lph. Very worth it.

Also its pretty fun watching mp10 barbs just kill shit. It also helps when trying to find errors. One main problem is that my guys will be a greedy human and stop attacking when a legendary drops under them. They stand there and try to pick it up and just die.

===== End Of Report =====

You spent 1 bil on how many bots? Also, are you skipping elites?

two barbs so far are geared that way, just started a 3rd one and it will be ready for mp10 when it hits 100.
yes im skipping elites but some of them eventually die throughout the run

The rings / boots are the most expensive part.

monk has been rerolled

LOL indeed. My personal opinion is that it is very retarded to spend that much on a bot.

only if you have few good PCs you can spent 50 mil on each barb bot and farm mp1 with 20 bots

in my case i can run only 4 diablo-3 instances on 1 pc

so hing mp and very good gear is more profitable for me

Rolled a WD today (budget 350m)
144k unbuffed DPS (leech Skorn)
64k HP
550 all rez
3.5k Armor

I'm trying Zombie Bears build and he is doing very bad :/ Can't even handle MP8 Weeping Trash farm
Though my barbs i made from 250-350m have no problems with MP10 trash farm :)

If i don't get a good solution/build soon i'm gonna have to reroll :/

MP8? Try mp5.. you need to perfect builds and stuff first, mate. You should know that ;p besides, WD is really imba with the recently buffed rune on firebats, so i suggest just wait for rrrix's next update of Trinity. Why don't you just farm mp2/3 for fast p.lvl until rrrix unveils his magic update

i did a reroll on a barb, but will keep WD for when the firebats will be working. I really don't see how he is imba :) I've noticed he doesn't use all skills i gave him :) and before he starts casting zombie bears he gets raped.
Just for LoLs i tried MP6 trash farm, 15mxp/h + deaths. I've tried some builds from the forum, no luck eaither :) He should handle MP10 with the gold i spent :) Barbs do with no problem. 1 death per hour in a solo game :)

If he will be holding the whole team back i need to reroll him, I thought he would be a good support+dmg with party plugin. I have never been so wrong, or i am just not using the proper build :)

I have some experience with wd's, and they don't really compete at all (bot wise). I guess you've gone 4 zuni + ls skorn right? if so, you actually need to up your @res. Also, a lot of work needs to be done to optimize wd's skill usage, they use locust-wrong, bats-wrong, barrage-wrong, and thats only for starters. Honest advice? Reroll or go low mp acid cloud. They can compete there :S

It is a lot better than before, some behaviour corrections were done to soul harvest, zombie bears and acid cloud regarding clustering that improved the way they are used. I hope they see some love by rrrix and the other devs soon enough, if they can get firebats and locust usage going, there's nothing that can beat a wd farming. My main is one with pretty nice gear ( maybe around 20b-30b worth) and , while I don't know the real numbers since I don't bot with it, he farms faster than anything else I've tried....considerably.

Rest assured a decent firebats build for high mp's will cost above 1b for sure. Ls is a complete must, and so is a zuni's 4 piece AND a huge life pool. Nothing under 60k life and 700 all res pre soul harvest will cut it imho.

Witch Doctor - Game Guide - Diablo III

^^ decent build for low mp's. Your stats are way overkill especially on the life pool size, but you'll need them later for high mp's firebats. You need to check get health globes box under trinity misc settings, I heard some work is also being done regarding this for wds with the gruesome feast passive (with should be about 100% of the ones who actually know something about the voodoo guys)

EDIT: Witch Doctor - Game Guide - Diablo III

^^ this one is a normal cloud of bats build for high mp with good gear. Mass confusion and BBV are optional, you can opt for Horrify - frightening for better survivability . Pet skills are a huge NO. You want everyhting around you, not around your pets. Some builds that have been told around by fame-looking streamers are terrible....and by the way, human proper usage of this skillset is very bot-like; you ignore small number of monsters, and actually even ignore some ranged elites (they are a huge pain in the ass with this build).

To pindleskin:Witch Doctor - Game Guide - Diablo III

Decent support wd. Rest assured he won't kill anything at all, yet he will severely debuff enemies and hex is really helpful. He won't be able to kill anything on his own though. But , the way skills are used now, if you get him spirit barrage he wouldn't use locust, if you give him acid cloud just the same......and locust is actually the most useful skill for a party wd. Taunt mobs off the screen? yes please.

I am confused and I need help. My monk with 600 mil gear is only at 108 k damage 2.3 LS and 1500 LoH. 2x1 hand weapons. The problem is that I don't have 24% movement speed from gear, only 12 and I use 2 inna set bonus. I say probleme because I have 1 big question: Is that important inna 3 set bonus? and second one : what build should I use to sustain a good MP8 or higher. I am not used with higher MP and the damage i require for this. I hope i get some explains.

3 piece inna's really doesnt do much. I ended up getting rid of my WH to go with a inna's belt for the 4 piece set bonus. With the full set the monk would keep SW up the entire run.

but again.. my monk has been stripped down and turned into a barb.

Well, if i take down my WH i think i will lose DPS, and is a huge problem for me how to put some damage on monk. Really expensive gear for 4 set bonus and 150 k dps. That is the reason barb is better i think. Alot cheaper for high MP. If u know a good build and stats for monk to sustain an MP 8+ pls post it here :D

My monk had 170k with WKL and inna's before taking him down.

I posted this on another topic, will put barb stats / gear in this post.

Yeah thats was likely to happen, if you dare to use wd in high mps and try to use their best skill (locust) they will die every time they go on their own.Simply not able to kill anything, and not enough dps to leech. Just every time. They will only be useful once they completely change skill priority and such.

EDIT: Even so, did taking the wd affect the individual results of the barbs? they should have spent less time going for mobs since locust should bring them to you, and both mass confusion and Voodoo should lower the time needed to kill them. And ignoring elites is probably the worst option for your little support wd....he would never use voodoo and probably mass confusion too! Also if you wanna give him a 2nd try , you'll need to set 20 trash radius so he never ever goes on its own XD

Barbs got better survivability with WD in the game - not like they need more :) +10mxp/h (on barbs) compared to 3 barbs only game. But i guess thats the multiplayer bonus. I already sold some of WDs gear, i am gonna have level 60 Barb in a few hours :) Will stick with this, its kinda min/maxed for the gold i put in :)

Been trying to think up good WD build's for DB/Trinity. Used to have a pretty good custom one with Locust and Plague Bat's. But in 1.08 with Firebat's higher mana cost makes it no longer it a run and gun spell. Works best on large number of groups. Locust Swarm is simply about getting large packs together at higher MP's. Does pretty weak dmg just has super AOE. Problem is it would be hard to have Locust Swarm kite enemies and not kill them. If DB could channel spells better I could get Firebat's to work probably. But things like Soul Harvest and Spirit Walk currently break channeling of Firebat's.

So tried to come up for a support WD Support Build

Witch Doctor - Game Guide - Diablo III

This is a true support build and would be used more for boosting the other players DPS and EHP. The WD would probably be the tankiest so should be the leader. You would use the WD to kite monsters with Locust Swarm. You really only have 2 options with runes Pestilence or Devouring Swarm for more mana. Acid Cloud is good skill if you pair it with a Freeze Belt and High LOH. Bad Medicine passive gives a 20% dmg reduction. I could easily see mana issues so Honored Guest seems like a good choice when paired with Spirit Vessel and Grave Injustice. Thing of the Deep plus another 7 pickup radius should really speed up Grave Injustice. Mass Confusion I would use on either very large packs of white mobs or elites. Big Bad VooDoo strictly elites. Will see how I could get the bot to use Spirit Walk towards an elite than Hex so you drop it at their feet.

You need gruesome feast 100%. It is not because of the improved dps if it is a true support/pull build, but is because of mana replenishment/ massively improved @res from additional int. Not an option in high mps!

About firebats and other skills compatibility, using spirit walk wont break your cloud of bats channeling, unsure about other skills but I think they all interrupt the channeling. Spirit walk wont, thats for sure. And one of the hardest parts to get this skills working in Db would be using SW offensively, not for movement speed, not for filling out mana, but use it on cd when channeling firebats to avoid incoming damage and especially cc's like the gazillion knockbacks in act1 that do interrupt the channeling. If using grave injustice passive, its cd its very small in solo play, not sure about party play. Kind of a checkbox inside trinity/combat/wd with moddified spirit walk behaviour on it, and if checked sw would be used on cooldown even if you are not receiving damage.(only when channeling cloud of bats)

Firebats would receive a similar treatment as the changes that were made to tempest rush, where you can indeed keep channeling tr while using Sweeping winds. Its probable Rrrix has already added this into gib, it's been a while since I tried dev version!

Also, right now if you have acid cloud and locust swarm both in your build, Db wont use Locust at all, only acid cloud I think.

About Totw, i'm not sure 3 Ls from MH would cut it in high mp's, always went skorn using this build. And the increased attack speed from using main+mojo wouldn't be beneficial because of mana consumption, even with several replenish mana skills / passives it is still very mana intensive. You need to get pick up radius from other pieces, and that's one of the reasons I believe gearing for this build will be really more expensive than any other high mp class.

EDIT: Going back to original post,my barbs are outfarming my monks when using ignore elites, given the same budget. I tried ignoring elites with monk party with disgusting results. They can't outrun elites, so you'll end up joining elite pulls and dying to arcane beams /desecrators / molten cores and Frozens covering the whole screen. Maybe someone will find out a variation that would allow monks to work better when ignoring elites, I know the 10% speed passive would be helpful but I can't do without any of the passives. OwE would be the chosen one to get rid of, but it would increase the monk budget 10X to get a decent amount of all res.
