So i havent been botting since patch 5.2 got released. Since i keep changing the way i bot from making new profiles through mapgen, zaprecorder and using private profiles. Botting from 12 hrs a day to 8 hrs to who gives a crap 24 hrs. I lost many accounts trying to figure out the reason from the bans. So i am wondering should i wait to go back to botting or just go balls out with the last couple of clean accounts i got left and try to make as much profits i can before they get ban?

If you are planning on using GB2. I recommend staying away now. If you're going to farm anything else. Give it a try with one account.

if you switch profiles and dont run the same thing and switch things up, then you should be fine.

i have never stopped using gatherbuddy2....and have not lost an account as of late..i lost a few a couple years back..but i got them returned....GB2 is fine....it could do with improvements..but it is as safe as you make it...

As long as you dont sell any gold to any chinese and get your account marked you should be good

i had multi profile gathering and it still got hit. so weird on how they ban the GB2 users.

It all depends on how long you let GB run and the routes obviously.

You need to randomize it, they can detect behaviour patterns now I believe. Basically no human would gather herbs for 12 hours straight, so switch it up! Been doing fine like that the last couple of days.

how i miss gathering for 8 hrs a day and no ban. now you have to gather 2 hrs then quest or something then back etc. Pretty much no longer fully afk :(

If you value your account, cancel your wow subscription and wait until the HB devs decide to fix the bot. Check the ban section for proof.

Hi,

Two things: as others have said, GB2 is as safe as you make it: use custom profiles, monitor and update your profiles every day or two for blackspots, Flightor and routing issues -this should be done by both monitoring your profile *and* by checking logs!

Secondly, it's just as important to keep your account activity in check:

  • Dealing with professional resellers associates your account with theirs. #justsaying
  • Don't spam /trade with CoD nonsense "COD me unlimited MoP herbs @28g /stack"
  • Do not piss off AH competition: do not flood AH with thousands of stacks!
  • Avoid single transactions of large amounts of Gold.

Just do what you do, friend! There is no way to make sense of all of this. Some of these guys don't want you competing with them in the AH so they will tell you anything. Some of them got banned for supposedly "no reason at all." Some of them are legitimately trying to keep you from burning down your main account because it hurts like hell to lose your old toons. But, in the end, you have to decide for yourself. It has never been safe to bot, and it is not getting any safer with the influx of more botters. If you like to bot, then enjoy it! If you simply love your toons, then lock them away because the Blizzardo boys will eventually catch up to all of us one by one if we bot long enough.
I'm botting because Honorbuddy rocks!!!

I am not using my main toon, but it was my banker so i have no idea whats the chances of getting ban for mass mail to it and sending CoD and auction like 150 a day. :( any u guys have the feeling wher eyou get into a game to bot, it goes downhill? haha. I went from Maple to D3 and WoW. They all go down hill with a patch or something that kills the profit margin
