I got two gems of ease to 25, used one to make the item requirement of an item to 1 and then socketed the other into a weapon for my DH but now I am just having the bot run t6 rifts with my barb until I have max blood shards and then I hop onto my DH to try and get set pieces. But I have spent almost 3k blood shards since I got her to 70 and not one set piece has dropped and only like 5 or 6 legendarys. But this is the best way as far as I know to get set pieces. Also I am going for the lightning natalya rov build http://www.diablofans.com/builds/57534-2-3-gr60-65-solo-lightning-natalya-rov. If you know of a better build please feel free to let me know. My goal is before the season is over to have my barb, dh, crusader and monk in good gear that can solo GR55+. Right now on my barb I can face roll until about GR 30 but I still need to get another ring and amulet and reroll some of my set pieces because I should have about 1.2 mil dps unbuffed and about 15 mil toughness but I only have 500k dps and about 11 mil toughness. Sorry I am rambling so should I stop playing d3 for a day or so to let my rng reset or am I just getting really unlucky with kadalya?

if you have goals, why stop playing?

3k bloodshards is .. not really a lot and the rng in blizzard games is always gonna be shitty, it feels like every1 else gets lucky but you dont. but its not like that.

There was a chart somewhere that showed the average number of shards used to get certain pieces of gear over a fairly large sample size. Some pieces took over 7000 shards ON AVERAGE to get. Times that by several pieces, and it could be taking you 50k+ shards to get a full set, and there's no guarantee that the rolls you would get on the pieces you need would even be decent.

The best thing to do is use the cube to upgrade your yellow items to legendaries. I seem to get a lot of set pieces going that route, but again it's all RNG.

Come 2.4 it will be easier to re-roll stats, but the mats requirement goes way up, too.

Using Kanai's Cube to upgrade yellow rare gear to legendaries has also become almost my only source of upgrades--especially Ancient gear. The only real problem with relying on the Cube for everything is that the entire game becomes nothing but farming for materials to use in the Cube. It also allows you to get nice pieces of gear that you can try out different talent/gear specs with though, so that's a bonus.

Kanai's Cube is BY FAR best option to go. I got all characters with ancient sets on them in few days thanks to this.
