I just want an easy way to farm gold while I'm afk for my WoW subs.

I'm seeing a lot of outdated and conflicting information here but seeing as how you're the only game in town I thought I'd ask.

Can this be done easily and how?

yes it can be done pretty easily. 100% afk? you're risking an account ban. up to you whether or not you want to make that risk

Meh, throw away account = no biggy as long as it can earn a minimum of 100k gold and another 66k a month would be cherry.

its hard to tell with HB there are alot of bot users in wow that reports you you can bot for one or 2 days and the other day you can be banned i quitted wow botting because of that reason

if thats all the gold you want, you'd be better off purchasing the gold from a farmer.
