Love your work.

When wil lava lash be implemented? :P
Damn man i heard you had it in one of your older releases, please add it again dude.
Once again love ur work, keep up the good work
alexhaes, My apologies for any issue you are encountering, but your results don't match my testing and there isn't enough information to look into this further. Please see the ShamWOW Frequently Asked Questions [CLICK HERE] for a template to use and steps on posting. You'll want to use those guidelines anytime you have a question or issue you would like me to look into. Thanks and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

fish, Thanks for the log file and description. I don't see anything obvious so will look at this in detail later. Since the range on some totems is only 25.0 yards, it does only cast when within that range of the tank. When movement is enabled, this isn't an issue because ShamWOW moves it within that range. However for LazyRaider use, it simply waits until you get within range. I saw that as a possible cause in most of the log, but he was within 25 yds at the [22:27:34:830] mark and after. So at this point where you are both in combat, neither are moving, the tank is within 25.0 yards, and no group healing is required, I would have expected it to be cast. I'll look at this further, but at this point just wanted you to know I am not ignoring you and that the issue will take more time for me to resolve than most others. I'll follow up when I have a resolution, but this may be a few days so just bear with me. Thanks and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

EDIT: There are several criteria that are used to avoid setting totems too early. Among them is a test to make sure that the tank is within 8 yds of its target, the idea being that it waits to set totems after the pull has completed so the tank doesn't move away from the place you set the totems. The problem in this case is that the tank maintains a distance of 60 yds or more from Rag the entire time. Now that HB includes support for measuring hitbox size of enemies which has only become available recently, I will need to change this check. Until the next release, just be prepared to cast totems manually for fights against bosses with very large hitboxes. Thanks, Bobby53

Thanks very much Bobby. If you could also look at the Gift of the Naaru issue as well when you get the time. Thanks again for all your hard work.

fish221171, My bad on the GotN. I already did look at it and there is a bug in the current version. It will again be correctly cast in the next version for self-healing only. Thanks for the follow up, Bobby53

Dear Bobby,
I'm a new user of honorbuddy and your awesome shaman cc.

Today I used it in combination with Lazyraider on ragnaros and had a problem with range.
I lurked around the forums and saw that because of the hitbox there must be made an exception for the certain fight. So I found mob customization in a config file and I would like to ask for your permission to add:
Code:
<Mob Id="52409" Name="Ragnaros" HitBox="60" />
on line 52 of ShamWOW.config

Would that fix the issue? Or is it maybe something else?

Is it permitted to do such stuff by the way?

Thank you for your time

dude honestly once you download the CC most CC makers are happy that you edit it etc but do not post the work as your own in a thread either keep it private, post the suggested change(like you did) or send the change to the CC maker via PM

@imdasandman: Thank you for your post! Modified versions of ShamWOW source code should not be posted under any circumstances. I discourage individuals from modifying their local copy of ShamWOW as well, but they are free to do so at their own risk knowing that I can't offer support in those cases. The file posted by sime however is a user maintained configuration file. I provide the default, but users are encouraged to add entries to ShamWOW.config let me know of important ones they add for consideration in being added to the default. As you mentioned, I prefer they be sent via PM but the single line sime offered will work as well. Thank you again for your post and support +rep, Bobby53

@sime, Yes, Ragnaros does likely need a hit box customization. I'll add to the distribution as 60. Please advise if a different range is needed as I currently don't have a raiding Shaman. Thanks for your post +rep, Bobby53

Thank you for your swift reply, Bobby53.

I'm still new to this whole concept and the forums, so I just wanted to check if it was fine with you, as I guessed changing the code without permission wouldn't be a nice thing to do.
I will certainly PM you as advised, should I have a similar question in the future :-)

Kind regards,

Hello again bobby, just a quick ask: is Spirit Link Totem supported yet?
Thank you for support.

zeany, Welcome to the forums! Anytime you encounter a problem you believe is with ShamWOW, go to the ShamWOW Frequently Asked Questions [CLICK HERE] for a template to copy/paste and steps on posting. You'll want to use those guidelines for any question or issue you would like me to research/respond to.

Since its your first post and thats a known issue I can help you out this time. The mesasge highlighted in your quote above is from HonorBuddy and means you do not have a profile loaded suitable for the level of your character. Profiles are the .XML files which tell some of the Bots (not all) where to go and what to kill, do, etc. They will typically have level restrictions, so if you are using a profile for levels 1-60 and your character is a level 61 or above you'll get that message.

If you encounter any issues, be sure to visit the FAQ linked above.

Thanks and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

Best thing to use is a blank profile when using lazy raider.

I am on my phone so I cannot get a link for you but you can toto kicks leveling profile and in his svn there will be a folder labeled "useful stuff" and select the blank qo profile. Have a good one

imdasandman, Thanks for the post and trying to help a fellow member. The suggestions are good general trouble shooting steps, but likely aren't pertinent to zeany's situation. A couple quick clarifications.

1. LazyRaider creates a blank profile in memory and ignores whatever profile has been loaded. You don't have to use Blank.xml with that Bot.

2. There weren't many details in zeany's issue post, but the error message provided was created due to having a profile loaded that isn't appropriate for the character level, class, faction, or the bot in use. Given that LazyRaider generates a blank profile in memory, the only assumption I can make from it is that he wasn't using LazyRaider

Thanks again for your post and ideas for assisting other members,
Bobby53

Hello Bobby,

I just wanted to express some thanks for the amazing CC!!
I've always been an enhancement shaman, and have never tried the healing way.
Some days ago I decided I wanted to try, so I made myself a healing mail PvP set and dove into the BG's.
I can only say that I'm utterly speechless as watched my toon being beaten upon by 4 or 5 opponents, and saw myself heal through that until reinforcements arrived, and I started healing the reinforcements and we fought them off.

Can only say: Wow!!

Great job.. Really big +Rep

*NEW* ShamWOW 4.5.08 available for download!

Contains a couple bug fixes AND changes to the default ShamWOW.config.

Biggest change is related to now using the new HonorBuddy API for retrieving the size of the enemy hitbox. This will have an impact primarily for Enhancement Shaman using LazyRaider. Previously they had to either move to the center point of very large hitboxes or add an entry for that mob in ShamWOW.config. This should no longer be necessary. Support for HitBox specification in ShamWOW.config is still support and will override the natural value returned by HB. My recommendation is to replace your Config\ShamWOW.config file with the default included and only override any you see require it in the future.

As always, if you encounter any issues please visit the ShamWOW Frequently Asked Questions [CLICK HERE] for a template to copy/paste into your post as well as steps on attaching a complete debug log file.

Change History - 10/06/2011 Revision 4.5.08
o change- Enhancement: enemy hit box size determination - ShamWOW now uses the new API in HonorBuddy to retrieve the size of the enemy hitbox. You can now stand at the edge of the hitbox for extremely large targets/hitboxes rather than being forced to move to the middle. Note: the Mob entry in ShamWOW.config takes precedence, so if a Mob has an HitBox definition that value is used instead.

o change- ShamWOW.config: the default Mob entries have all been commented out since they should no longer be needed.

o fixed - Ancestral Spirit: will now work for LazyRaider users that stop right at 30 yds away from corpse

o change- eating and drinking state change log messages revised to better track how it began and how it ended

o fixed - Gift of the Naaru and Lifeblood: now correctly cast at configured health % for self-heals
Note: for projektt and others encountering the Not In Line of Sight issue when fighting Ragnaros (enemy clearly in line of sight, but HonorBuddy reporting you are not), an adjustment will be coming in the next release.

Bobby,

I have been testing this for a few nights and it seems that Gift will only be cast if your playing solo, it does not seem to work when your in a Group or Raid. I have uploaded my log for BWD.

If you get a chance can you investigate.

Thanks
