seems like getting a ban hammer down the line is inevitable for running HB, but I still temped to try it. Shall I make a new acc then xfer the single botting toon to the new acc to avoid getting banned on an acc full of 100s? how you vets do this?

Follow good practices; keep it 6000. What do you want to achieve with the bot? Gold? Level Toons? Gear?
"keep it 6000" what does it mean? I want to farm matz and gold mostly then send money i made to my main. But aint it costly to create a seperate acc just for botting? I need to buy wow all again(every exps) plus monthly fee. I think even if I don't get the ban in the first 6 months it won't break even for the $$ I spent to run the bot...

You should honestly just buy the gold, at a rate of $0.1/k its too easy.
You have a few common choices, some more risky than others. Garrisons, Dungeon Diving, Felblights, Farming Old Raids, etc
