several aspect of recent ban

dont know about a banwave, but:
1. we have had some reports on low profilers getting banned.
2. a few of my buddies from battle.net have also got banned without exception, just dont give a damn about posting in forums
 
Lol falcon, do you think everybody who got some bans bothered to write a report? I got 8/8 banned and not write a damn post about this - because there were so many of them already, etc.
Now, do you know why not all db users banned already? Because that would not be profitable for Blizz. They aim at 1) keep botters in hope of future profits and let them buy accounts as replacement 2) keep botters selling goods in RMAH (though keeping some minimum level of scarcity).
Anyway I am glad it is over for me - time spent on selling botted goods has been already much over profits for the long period.

now there's some logic in that :) i think Blizz banned me, cause they didnt profit shit from my botting :)
Also they need to draw the line somewheres. Their record would seem ugly if the player base of D3 were to drop by 20% all of the sudden :P
