Okay, first thing is first.
I had 2 accounts botted, a friend had 3 accounts.
Casually using ARelog, gathering herbs/ore.
These accounts have been used for 2 + years, more than 20 hours/day, with no problems at all. Coincidentally, 1 day after using ARelog, all these accounts are banned for the same 'abuse of economy' reason.
Now, I've spoken to 3 different Blizzard Team members, and all can not tell me why I've been banned. They reply to my emails and tickets with the same thing.
All they've told me is, my account has been compromised. They, or the system thinks I've been hacked, or used to sell gold. I've, nor my friend has ever tried to sell gold, we don't even chat in-game on these bot accounts.
My friend's 3 accounts, only 2 were used via ARelog, and 1 was manually logged in.
The 2 using ARelog were banned, the 1 that didn't wasn't. All 4 of the banned accounts were banned all within 3 minutes of each other.
Also, later using the 1 unbanned account left, using on ARelog, working fine.
Logged on this account manually directly after, and it's password was reset.
This is due to an IP change. (Happens to me weekly, as my router changes IP etc)
So, my suspicion is that ARelog acts as some sort of Proxy, and somehow WOW/Blizzard has thought someone else has used my account, etc etc.
This is my only thought, and everything that seems too coincidental, could be blamed on the one thing.
I am in no way blaming this 100% on ARelog, all I'm asking is for this to be looked into, or am I just going crazy?
EDIT -- I've also seen a few other posts, (Shadows) for example, who've been banned on the same day, for the same reason, also using ARelog. And his description, matches ours. ARelog tried to login, says disconnected but not banned. (Read his post I suppose)
