Setting up the bars

Hi,

I'm having trouble setting up the bars to use GB. It uses action bar #3, correct?
I'm using the addon bartender 4 to arrange my bars. Could that interfere with GB?
When I tried loading and running GB. It just took action bar 3 and put it in action bar 1. Then whenever I change something in action bar 1 it does the same change in action bar 3 and vice versa. It really screws up my bars whenever for whenever I want to play normally.

If i were you i'd disable bartender, set your bars up on the original UI , re-enable bartender and reconfigure it with your spells; then disable which ever bar the addon uses as bar 3 from the standard UI.

This is what i used to do with CT_BarMOD.

So my bars are pretty much always going to revolve around GB? unless I manually change them around?

Its only 1 bar, i'm not sure how bartender works but with CT you could have around 10.

You will only need to set this up once and then forget about it.

I use Bartender, just setup bar 3 to work with GB, you still have another 8 or so bars you can use if you want

Okay thanks. I have a lot of buttons for my hunter... but I should be able to clear up 10 of em.

or you could:
you have your original wow folder in programfiles
then copy/paste that folder and create a duplicate somewhere (this will be your gatherbuddy WOW, here set your graphics to min, disable all addons) and this will permit your pc to run on low resources if you're using multiple bots. remember the more addons the more resources you use (you can confirm that via taskmanager for your wow window).

so when you're done botting, close that window and open your other wow window full of addons. this way you dont have to keep clicking 'disable addons' if you only had one wow window.
