seriously considering buying HB, have some quick questions...

i love to play WoW, problem is, i wish i had more time for it. im in the military and and im married, so unfortunately i don't have as much time as i'd like to.

had some quick questions about HB and how it works:

1) are profiles supposed to be started from lvl 1? or could i use a profile for an alt thats like lvl 22 or something?

2) if i do start from lvl 1 with a 1-60 profile, could i stop the bot, hand level for a bit, then start the bot again?

3) BGs at 85~ how does it work? does HB bring in a good bit of honor?


thats about it, if i think of more ill ask in this thread. any help would be great, thanks guys!

there is no profile for the starting zone for DK right now.. so you'd hve to hand level him until he got out of the starting zone...

yes, but there are profiles for lvl 44.. you can bot at any level from 1-85 you just need to download/create the right profile

Most of the profiles have sub profiles which tell the bot where to go at certain level ranges. Therefore, you will generally always be in a level-appropriate place for grinding as long as you travel to the location where the sub profile starts. The bot has trouble travelling long distances, so you want to find out which sub profile you'll be using and move your bot to that zone before starting.

Example:
A typical Alliance 1-60 profile might have the following sub profiles
1-12 Elwynn forest
12-17 Westfall
17-24 Redridge Mountains
24-28 etc.
28-34 Duskwood
34-39 etc.
39-45 etc.
45-52 etc.
52-60 Burning Steppes

So if you used this profile at level 44 it would detect that and grind in the 39-45 sub profile. But you have to move the bot to the zone first. In other words, there is no need to hand level from 44 to 60. I mean, you can hand level as much as you want and the bot will pick back up where you leave off. But there are no set level ranges where you have to start or stop botting.

I think you leave the DK area at 58 after finishing the starter quests. Then you can jump right into an Outland profile.

Also FYI:
60-70 profiles usually start at level 58 for Outland
70-80 profiles usually start at 68 for Northrend

Most leveling profiles have "checkpoints" in them, or "subprofiles," so it'll choose a spot to grind depending on which checkpoint or subprofile your current level falls into. Questing profiles are quite a bit more complicated so I can't say for certain on those.
