Selling gold

I don't have any experience selling gold and thought someone here might want to help me. How long does it usually take for around 800m to sell? I've put it up at 28 cents per million and it's just not selling. When I click the buy gold button in the AH I can buy gold for 29 cents per million, this makes no sense to me, since my gold is up there cheaper. Does anyone have any tips for me? Thanks in advance.

put it on for .27 it will sell! Or directly after a downtime! (last method works great) because the auctions are clean!

Also have any tips on what quantities? Just one large bulk of 800m or smaller piles with less gold?
