Selling gold where?

Can anyone recommend any site / etc people on here who would like to buy gold?

Its my very first time trying to do this. My stock is 600k

And does it basically work? You contact some gold selling site and ask if they would like to buy from you? If so, you willingly give all of your golds to the buyer and hope and pray they will pay you?
