Blizzard takes ~28% of your total value just to send it to pay pal?

That's right, production?

Still free money.... If it keeps blizz happy enough and off my back I'm ok with that.

And dont forget the money for all the power u needed... And, most of the ppl here forget, all the money u have to pay for the taxes in your country. Or do u rly think its free money??

At the point you are claiming the taxes you are writing off taxes and expenses. You still getting money, its not free. It took some of your time.

They're providing a service though. If you don't like it, you could try the free market and sell on message boards/etc for no fee. nearly all electronic servers takes 30% fee....Steam, Microsoft, and Apple. Why not blizzard too since they could get away with it. Bitching about it on a bot forum is funny though

Terrible idea for you to sell it to 3rd party sites in order to avoid transaction fees altogether. It gives blizzard a fiscal reason to ban you, which is what they are most concerned about. They ban more people to keep the rate of items flowing in to match the rate of people purchasing items. If they don't ban people, undercutting becomes a huge issue where items become worthless, people become satisfied, and the demand drops even more. When they consider who to ban, do they ban the people that are paying their dues, or do they ban the people that are screwing over their overall revenue? If I were you, never sell to a 3rd party site because you'll only move yourself up higher on the ban priority list.

Incorrect, Blizzard will choose to ban any players they find that are NOT wearing a Tinfoil hat. Just common sense rly.

So you're saying that when they do go about banning people, whether they used RMAH or not isn't a factor? I find that hard to believe as they are still a business and the 2 things they care about are their reputation and the money that they make. They will outright ban anyone who exploits the game and screws the game economy up completely, and they will also ban the people that they could have been profitting off of, since buyers are a finite resource. When they ban 3rd party sellers, they make a profit off of it as the price of items that they will actually profit off of will go up. It wouldn't make sense to ban the people who use RMAH first since they would be directly cutting off revenue from items.

Also, if your intent was to troll me, you shouldn't be doing it anyways on a forum dedicated to helping eachother out.

I like to think of the 28% as a protection fee. I'd much rather pay a 28% cut than deal with shady third parties(which is a real pain in other games like WoW tbh)

Darling, I was simply being sarcastic, it wasn't to troll, only to entertain. Anyway I have dedicated a lot of time to this forum helping others (check out my guides) so for someone with 5 posts, what have you contributed?

Anyway can't be bothered to get into a flaming war, which is no doubt inevitable.
