Hello,
So I searched and apparently several people are having this issue, but I haven't found a solution to it yet, so any help would be appreciated.
I'm trying to run a second D3 account with a separate key. I've tried copying and pasting the entire directory and then creating a shortcut with -launch, but the second game just simply won't launch. I don't get an error message or anything, the loading splashscreen just comes up and then dissappears.
I've also tried the method where you set multibox to true and then delete the agent folder. This launches the second client, but it takes an extremely long time to load and once it does I get an error message when I try to create or join a game.
I'm pretty sure it's not my hardware, I have 8gb of ram and an i7 cpu which should run 2 clients fine.

If anyone has had a similar issue and managed to resolve it any tips would be appreciated.

I have the same problem and I have 16gigs and i7 processor, what OS are you running?

Sorry for being a noob here but it seems I am not understanding all of the vocab used here. Do I just copy and paste a new D3 folder? What do you mean another directory?

Thanks in advance

Yeah, just copy/paste a new D3 folder, and make a new shortcut.

This does not help me, I still cant open two instances. the second instance freezes...

The old method was working, but as of this last patch two folders wont work for me. I never tried different folders though.

Wow Placing it in a different folder works!!! Thank you so much !
