Does anyone here have any experience with buying SoR accounts? It's it fairly safe?

I've bought a few. Only had issues with 2 , not from the seller , from Blizzard. They do random investigations and in these 2 instances requested proof of identity - I scanned and uploaded my real DL that matches my bnet - All was good.

No recalls - Char xfers went smooth (after 30day wait)

EDIT: Figured I should mention that blizzard waited until the 6th day of the 7day free game time to "lock" the 2 SoR accounts - I thought that was a bit odd. If I had lost them though an 80% track record is pretty good and worth the risk as each account is only 10k gold.

I've used 2-3 SoR accounts, never had any issues.

May I ask where you guys buy the SoR accs?

Some places I think make it so you have your details on the account so even when it gets locked you can get it back.

Don't see how unless they know the original account holders information. They are unmerged inactive WoW accounts, and there is no way to login to them anymore to see what characters are on it etc (I'm pretty sure) without merging/making a battle.net account (This is where you can make it under a new name , yours , Jim Bob's or Billy Dean. Whatever suits your fancy.

So what you guys basically do is to buy a sor account, then transfer the character to your main account?
