QA has signed off on the patch, and we are going to deploy it as soon as possible. There will be an in-game 15 minute warning at 830 PST (1630 GMT). We don't expect to be down longer than an hour and a half, and may come in shorter than that.

I apologize for the last minute notification, but we wanted to get this patch on the servers as soon as possible! The website will remain online, so I will give any updates here.

I would cancel and restart the launcher. Had same issues 2 days ago. But can't guarantee it won't broke anything...

Looks like it did, I restarted it a couple times now and it's still stuck. Repair it is!
 
Wearing out my F5 key. I'm guessing Aevitas wasn't able to get his SWTOR install sorted for testing before bedtime. The SWTOR CDN is having some really fucked up routing issues, some outside the US are finding success using a VPN with a US IP and DL'ing from a US based node FYI.

Nea there has been a report made by Bioware, that they have connection issues since Tuesday.
Seems they didnt pay the Hamster-feeding-company :)

I edited my post...ppl outside US are using VPN with US based IP to circumvent said hamster and DL the update successfully.
 
Just released another update for 4.1a, as we forgot to include a new library in the zip. Let me know if you run into any trouble.
 
Got problem with the plugins - BW simply doesn't display them and they're not working. Clean install didn't help.
 
Aevitas noted You NEED to remove the buddymonitor plugin. Only then will plugins load.
 
Via Dev post: Another patch to fix the worst new bugs eta next week sometime. In the meantime, don't use the sort tabs on your cargo hold, you can lose items if you do.

I just wanted to pop in and let you all know of a few things we are looking to fix in a patch next week. I don't have any dates/times yet, but the team is working to get these as soon as possible:
•212, 216, and 220 crafted Relics being Bind on Pickup instead of Bind on Equip.
•It is possible to get in a state where you cannot complete Chapter X.
•It is not possible to complete the Alliance Alert "To Find a Findsman" if you start Chapter X.
•It's possible to lose items if you use the "Sort by Quality" function of the Cargo Hold.

Once I get a date and time I will make sure to post it! If the list changes at all, I will update this post as well.
