Safe way to transfer gold to main account?

I think it's a given that his statement can't be guaranteed 100%, because he's not in Blizzard. However, that doesn't invalidate his experience. As was mentioned before, no one can really know for sure what the flags are. Still, it's nice to know as much information as possible in formulating our own construct of what we believe those flags might be. It's a given that any information isn't final, so I don't feel that it needs to be expressed clearly on every turn. Like when you write a school paper, and you're spared of having to put "in my opinion" at the beginning of every paragraph. It's just redundant.

Experience + common sense leads to a general idea of what is going on. Scientific experimentation of the kind I am proposing leads to the rigorous knowledge you seem to be talking about.

Even after most of your concerns have solid ground, again "working" with too much assumption parameters could easily derail the whole project to something completely unusable for testing.

First, because we only assume how Blizzard handle the bans, second because there is way too much parameters, which do happen behind the scenes, and we dont even have idea for them. And third - because this is too much data, to be handled by small team, which could safely have trust between them about the results, but when its open to the public, any troll can ruin the whole project with false data, taken into account.

I do not write above to discourage you, not at all, but just to reduce the active parameters.

So from what I understand there are 3 ways to transfer gold:

1) Post something to the AH, and buy it (but this might be risky unless you have a nice BoE that could sell for a lot anyways
2) Have a friend be the middle man (you give them the gold, they take say 10% of the gold, and then they give it to you say 2 - 3 days later
3) Make a new guild, invite a character from your main account to that guild, have your "bots" leave the guild, 1 - 2 weeks later pull all the gold from the bank

Of the three, I have used #2 the most often, of course trial and error tend to be best advice.

Why have a friend act as a middle man? Couldn't you use your own acct(on a different PC, IP) as a middle man?

It's possible, but I'm sure there's a lot of casual/new botters like myself who only have 1 or 2 accounts, and the hassle of setting up all that extra stuff is both foreign and time consuming to learn.
