Running accounts without tripwire post in here . Talk to each other

my strategy....
same as last time.... bought battlechest... max lvl with a toon (lvl 100)... one week max!. 3 days of bg.... geared! 2.5 weeks on raw gold farm.. firelands. halls of lighting etc... buys new month. and deposit a good amount of gold on guild bank... buy legion and start rocking...

im still going strong! Almost 24h and had multiple logouts and relogs to tweak addons. Hopehully can get to 110 and dodge the banhammer for now :D

auch that sux , so it means everyone without tripwire is gonna get it soon :)

So that means it was more safe to run without the tripwire?! :)

so should i disable it? or let it stay on?

i still isnt sure on what it does. but that everyone speak about it

12h are too short period for botting-related bans.

One or more of the 4 options are most likely true:

1. Your VPN addresses are most likely in the blacklist for VPN, so blzz servers auto-flag them for suspicious behavior and ban soon after.

2. You run too much bots per VM, like 4-5?

3. You run in reckless mode since first minute - 12 hours for first playing session is too much for any new/returned player, who start a new account. So Blizz do not need actual 3rd party detection to filter & penalty this.

4. You have leftovers from previous installs, which Blizz could directly relate to your former botting farms.

I must disagree. If he used his VPN provider before and had never any problems with it, there shouldnt be any problems regarding the vpn. most vm users are using 1 vm / 1 bot/ip and if they hit you they are still monitoring with their detection method. As others have mentioned to be banned after 24 hours its pretty obvious that blizzard is watching us. I guess that the accounts are flagged really fast and we are just baited to setup more accounts.

i didnt earn the acc back , in those hours iv earn around 150k gold after selling . because of price for herbs going up and down . i was lucky because i
was able to sell 300k gold for 45 euro's private . and used that money for this test run . for now i dont think it is safe to bot . since i was banned verry fast . will go again in a week .

Does this has to do anything with the update then?

Cause I haven't updated or closed down my wow accounts yet, and been botting for over 30 hours straight on 2 chars.
Seems like the ones who actually got banned, have played after that very small patch.

Can we confirm this?
