I'm pretty tight with my money when I give it to blizzard after how they always disappoint me with expansions so I've been watching people stream ROS and it looks alright but I cant see myself wanting to spend $40 on it I personally think its worth like $20-25 of content at best. Anyone else like me and just going to farm legendaries and paragon level until ROS drops to $20 in 6 months?

Is the shit you buy from MCdonalds worth 3-4 bucks? No but people still buy it.
I personally bought RoS and i am loving it, question you must ask yourself is, do u actually enjoy playing that kind of games. If u plan only botting to get better items but even when u do have them u don't enjoy playing more then 15 mins in one run with the uber character u created then no don't by the game. My plan is to play the game when i have time and bot when i don't have time to stay ahead of other people in my clan and friends. Also RoS was like 34$ on 23rd on some pages and for me that was a fair price.
Will i enjoy the game in 6 months the way i am enjoying it now? Probably not but 500-600 hrs of gameplay is great for the money spent, not to mention you can always hop in and out of the game when u feel like it.
Hope i helped you a bit.

I thinkt RoS is a good addition to D3 and worth the money.

imo yes, its a shame its taken 2 years or so to get it to this stage

Not at all.. I should have been at lease 2 Acts and a lvl cap for 80...

But hey i brought it, Knowing full well it wasn't worth 40 bucks, But ive proberlly made over 20k from Diablo so i dont care..

The crusader class is very fun to play :) i just wish she was wearing not much with massive tits like sona from LOL..

2 acts???, another expansion is slated for Diablo, if they did what you suggest we would have 8 acts and level 100 toons??? That just sounds silly, honestly I don't think we'll even see another act in the next expansion pack I think they will expand on adventure mode some more. 6 Acts would be too much, and 8 would be suicide imo.

To OP
Adventure mode is pretty fun, but I'm not so sure this xpack was worth 40$, more like 30.

Guys! Come on! When we started to think that someone owes us so much?
Last autumn I was in Thailand and I gave $40 to have a ride on a motorboat for 30 minutes. I don't regret it, that was fun.
Bl****rd made a huge game that has at least 10 hours of gameplay just to reach the endgame. All we need is to sit on our asses and have fun!
I bought it for myself, for my girlfriend and for one of my friends, and it is awesome!
Game design is rised to a new level, and now we are actually have stuff to do in this game!
I think that $40 is nothing, it should cost way more. Honestly, I would give 150-200 bucks for it.

40$ for a 30 minute ride on a motorboat in Thailand? You got ripped off mate. ;)

I actually think the new story plus the new adventure mode really revitalized it for me. New skills are pretty 'meh' but I am having a ton of fun on crusader. I slept about 2 hours total yesterday playing it the legit way.

With that said, I do think it's more of a $30 xpac than the full price. I'm not upset I paid for it in the end and if it means 2 less drinks next time I go out to recoup the cost, so be it.

Simple answer

Yes

and motorboat 40$? you just payed someones rent for 6 months if not more.

lol sound's like you are jobless and 40$ is a big deal

Off topic but there's much more interesting things you can ride in Thailand for 30 minutes for $40.00. :)

If it's not worth it to you, don't buy it. Noone here can put a valuation on an item for you, it's all up to the individual. And TBH, if $20 is that big of a deal to you, I really feel sorry for you.

Do you need the xpac to level to 70 or can you level to 70 without? I don't see what the point of getting gear will help you with when you could get to 62 and all that gear you spent 6 months farming for is now obsolete and you're way behind the curve.

I dunno why people assume I cant afford it I'm simply gathering peoples opinions, it makes you look really stupid when you do that. Its not a big deal to me but i vote with my wallet and dont think its worth $40 so wondering who else feels the same or just likes being a loyal blizzard fan boy throwing money for crap (wod pre purchase 6 months in advance example).

Noone said you couldn't afford it, we just said you sound like a tool for caring so much about 20 bucks. You are the one that looks stupid here, not us.

And I'm actually proud to call myself a Blizzard fan boy. I'll be a fan boy of Blizzard till the day I die.

And your example of the wod pre-purchase is a piss poor example. I could spend 60 bucks now or I can spend 60 bucks in 6 months. It makes no difference to me or probably anyone else here. Either way, they're going to get my 60 bucks. And the game sure as hell isn't going to go on sale for less anytime in the next year or so. Me and many other people here aren't so cheap that I have to wait for a sale to justify my purchases to myself or anyone else.

The Hype is real, DB works great.

Thread is slowly turning into a troll section

i wonder what tony is going to do about it.

To actually play? I probably wouldn't buy it, mostly because I'm bored to death of playing ARPG's and I've seen first hand what years of collected play time can yield for gear (from the bots) and frankly i can't imagine throwing my life away grinding for mostly pointless loot. Basically for me, the game isn't very fun, but I really enjoy botting it. I bought 6 copies of RoS and plan to sell the accounts once they are geared up to a point. I think it's a fun hobby and possibly very lucrative even at this point.

I think as far as RoS goes its alright, I don't think its necessarily worth $40 but its OK, if anything only DB seems worth it as far as Diablo goes as it saved me tons of time and wrist pain.

It's not worth $40, it's not even worth $20. Watch a couple of twitch.tv streams for 5 minutes and prepare to be bored to tears. Everything is EXACTLY the same with a few cosmetic twists here and there. And no trading.

P.S. Ignore the elitist douchebags who think money has no value. They haven't worked hard for anything in their lives.
It does, spend it wisely.
