Risk to bot on connected license?

i was banned on my main account using a gather buddy mining ore. i talked to them and they removed the perm ban on my main account and just gave me a three day suspension. i know it was my fault i left it on for almost 48 hours and probably 60+ hours in three days. it was stupid on my part and i deserved it. my question is this. I have multiple license on my bnet account. am i at risk at all of having my whole account closed or my main account banned if i bot on one of my other license or would i just get banned on that one license for botting? or do i just need to break down and but a different bnet account to bot on?

I would say 99% of the time they only ban the 1 account that botted

the 1% would be if you have some sort of link between accounts like sending botted mats to sell off etc. If a GM was to do a thorough investigation into the accounts he might determine that they both should be banned (pretty rare I think)

any more confirmation on this? i have 6+ years playing time on my main account. i really do not want to risk getting it perm banned. i will not be botting it anymore but i might send things to it. from my botted account. but i want to be 100% sure it will not get banned as well or else ill just start a new separate account

I run three accounts , Two of the three are connected/joined in battle net. One is a stand alone. If I bot on the one of the two connected accounts in battle net and get busted, both of those accounts will be affected. How do I know this! Last time I botted, I was doing it on one of the connected accounts and both of them got a 72 hr. ban. even though I never botted on one of those two. I don't bot on those accounts anymore, since one of them in the joined /connected battle net account was my original account with my mains on it. So now I only bot on the one account.

Example : accounts [email protected] and [email protected] are both in one battle net account. (if busted botting, on either one of or both, these accounts both get shut down.

account 33333.silly.com is on another battle net account by itself. This one is not associated with the other two in battle net, so it will be the only one affected. Hope I understood your question and this helped answered it.
