So i see a lot of people using the sport fishing plugin and i can only assume that that means they are using their main account on archebuddy... i am assuming that if you just use this to help with automating tasks that you are at the keyboard for.. there isnt much risk to getting reported/spotted by gm...

However.. is launching AA through archebuddy something they can detect/monitor?

tbh, i don't think so atm. was talking with a gm over live chat last night

GM:
We don't have access to reports per se or who's reporting you specifically. We do have specific things to check if we do ban you, and in that situation currently, I don't see any sort of third-party program on your account that would result you in a ban currently.

Thank you nick that response was helpful. Like you i believe its not detectable atm

however right now, sometimes a GM is joining the server, with a message sayining " Would you kindly call out in faction chat the active locations of these bots, and i'll be more than happy to eradicate them!"

so be aware what you are doing ^^

It is the same as the risk of using any bot on any account, chances are at some point you will get caught.

why the fuck do people ask this same question over and over again in this part of the forum?

because they are evidently looking for an unreal "yes, its 100% safe" LOL

I don't believe people are looking for the answer of 100% safe. Most do understand the risks of botting and losing their account. Its more about minimizing risk. Ill use myself as an example. Using honorbuddy i currently avoid bgbuddy (pathing) and gathering (high ban rates). Also questions in regards to anything up with the warden update etc are perfectly valid and warrant concern to most. Thats just me, Ill do the best job i can not to lose my account if i can avoid it.

Although some people do need to learn to use the search on the website. Not all questions in regards to whats safe or safe warrant a response like that.

Sorry but I disagree entirely, they do in fact warrant that response as it is the same question asked over and over again (using different words in some cases but asking exactly the same thing)

The simple facts of botting are....

YES there is a damn good chance you will get caught (circa 80%), accept that and either chose to bot or don't
stop asking whether running around the garden 3 times waving a rubber chicken and singing waltzing matilda will lower your chance of being caught, it won't nor will anything else you can think of including a tin foil hat and underwear.

i've been botting since 6 yrs multiple games. Avoided many ban wave and GM question by just playing it smart. Dont grind 12hr nostop, dont grind at the same spot, get a chat-alert with some keywords (GM, *yourname*, invite).
If possible get some remote desktop if you are botting while working, even only the chat or the bot status its ok. In doubt, shut down the bot and play manually or log out.
