Risk: Ashran vs BGs

Hi there,

Looking to farm Ashran for the universal language modulator.

Obviously standard BGs are extremely high risk atm. Do people feel Ashran botting is the same, or does it seem somewhat safer?

99% of bot risk is player report. that only happens when a player sees that you are acting like a bot. so yeah i think that in ashran you will have better chances of getting reported

Now that all members of an ashran instance are auto-grouped and can see exactly where your at at all times it became much more risky. Some groups get pissed if people are running in random places and not with the group, others wouldn't even notice. Long story short I would try to avoid it especially at peak hours, its much more risky (in my personal opinion) than the popular dungeon farm method.

Geared all my chars in ashran, once did something stupid and used bot for BG, after 2 hours and i got banned, reason = Bot detected in _battleground_ so i honestly pref using ashran.

All forms of botting in any pvp environment is high risk...

Because if player report..

Simple...

PVE= no player in going to care because your hitting black hand like a truck and our dpsing them- particularly if that means they get loot... Hell I could almost bet if you killed mythic backhand and 9 other members got the achievements - and you confessed to botting - they still would not report you...

PVP= you have just turned there pvp match into a bot train- they are going to report you..

I use BG Farmer and honestly Ashran is a hot mess. It is really obvious to both sides, but more so the enemy when a player is botting Ashran. In battlegrounds it seems to perform somewhat better, but still detectable by other players. I'd recommend going into Ashran, but just manually moving and letting the CR do the fighting. With a good premade you can get about 1k+ Conquest an hour on your way to cap without it seeming to others like you are botting. Full AFK anywhere is very risky. Even when full afk leveling through kick's I keep an eye on my toon. So far so good after a couple years of using this. They'll get me sooner or later and I have done some risky and frankly stupid stuff. Keeping fingers crossed.
