totally random drop, ive found about 30 on seasons and used easily 5-10 on various items to fool with. It took me 4 full days of botting nearly 20 hours a day before I found my first non-season gift after returning from seasons, After that about a day later I had 3 drop in one night and yesterday I got 4 doing T6 rifts in one 12hr session.
this was like 3-4 weeks ago before i stopped seasons, and 3 of the items on the screen right there are gifted already. I got lucky and most of them I found pre paragon 200, Must have missed anywhere from 1-10 who knows while I used a broken version of trinity on ghom despite knowing it was broken I did it anyway cuz i couldn't wait I needed exp/gold. Can't wait til seasons rolls over, Got some nice lightning gear to mix with my NS lightning gear. Just use latest trinity version and be patient.
