Rift Bot - Yet Another Rifter!

Ugh.

On Explore, bot runs the bounties okay but goes through the Rift portal, TP's back to town immediately, and then I wake up with him standing next to Tyrael with no open quest.

Gold timer kicks in every time this happens (I assume), and the log spews out CONSTANT red text. We're talking... non-stop.

I think the error is something about "the filename is too large. It can only be 265 characters" or something like that. I'm at work so I can't tell you for sure, but I'm at a loss because I can't really use the bot right now.

Bounties work at least moderately well from what I can see.

1. roll back to old ver plugins as first post said.
2. update profiles

So many hoops to jump through all the time. :-/ Name of the game I guess.

Yeah I'm on .24 and .45, etc. I'll roll back to the stable DB.

That said, what file in Trinity saves your config? Gonna do a clean install but I don't want to reconfigure TRinity each time I do that.

wow to me, it's a big upgrade from 'hoping that one properly working rift profile to be developed'. It reduced a lot of inefficient movements which are going back to the very first entrance and stepping all unexplored ground. I have very little information since this is only my first round of rift, but I think the movements became a lot more like those of real humans :) great job! When I saw the post Oksedose suggesting using the precision, I thought it would take at least few days to become available, but thanks for the fast update!

Glad to see it working! In fact I know it may become better but I have no idea how much it will be better. Will try out tmr.

In fact this new param values are only my initial guess. Some of them may need tuning. So please report if odd things happened.

Keep all things in /Settings and /Profiles if you have.
 
Speaking to Tyrael is annoying, but not wasting to much time for pure rifting so I guess it's just fine. Blacklisting Tyrael will disable bounties as imo in the same botbase thread the blacklist is maintained which ever profile is loaded.
 
Is there any explanation when bot suddenly just stops combat and stand idle though? It has to die multiple times and then finally get back to work...or I manually fight fight until it somehow recognizes. If this only happens to me, I think it's because of my frequent D/C of internet...hmm

oh actually, whenever it happens, such message seems to appear when as soon as bot resumes:

1. Bot got stuck where the red circle is. Unstuck was unsuccessful with 10 tries.
The green circle is where the bot died. After that, he backtracked all the way to start and started exploring already explored nodes. I don't know if it was caused by the bot dieing or not.

The 2nd map was almost a replica of the first and the bot did the same thing without dieing. Don't think there's any need to post screenshot.

2. On this map the bot started backtracking from the red circle all the way back to start again and a full circle around the map. After that he exited to the next level just fine.

3. On this map He did a real marathon backtracking session. He ran from the red circle to the green squares to explore the remaining on the map. Maybe its exploration is to precise now?

I think the pathPrecision value in collaboration with boxSize and boxTolerance needs tweaking. A lot more stucks and backtracking now.

I have turned off pathPrecision now and everything under this sentence is without pathPrecision.

5. On this map the bot gets stuck trying to target a field gate. Red circle indicates where it is.

ZOMG!!1 I got it working, i think. Its doing a rift atm. Will monitor.

SVN refuces to dl the plugin, had to manually dl that. intended?
 
I use common with bounties, he doing bounties perfectly, bounty end, he get price and when he should open rift he restart game.

When i start only Common it salvage sell then stay and restart game over and over. Trinity .24, Questtool .45, demonbuddy .357
 
I installed everything you advise on first post ( fresh installed ). Bot finished Act 4 bounty but kept on going without completing the quest Return to Tyrael in Bastion's Keep.

[Trinity] Active bounty returned null, Assuming done.
[Trinity] Bounty is done. Tag Finished.
Loaded profile Act 4 - Loader

Edit: 2nd rift : stay blocked on a Warded Door in "Counselor's paradox 2" Map Name : X1 LR Level 02 Tile set Catacombs) a bit of backtracking too at the start of the map

Edit2 : I know its not coming from your profile but i get A LOT of "[Trinity][Performance] Execution of the block " issues... Anyone else having the same atm?

Having same issue. Trinity, plugin, and xml's all current from SVN.
 
Awesome bot, but sometimes Diablo 3 looks like it DCs and it looks like that for 2-4 seconds, then suddenly it starts to work again :S

Only happens with this profile for me :S

Anyone else experienced it?

Look at DB window do you see these kind of thing ? [Trinity][Performance] Execution of the block NavigateTo took 1503.38ms. in red? If yes i think there is a problem with either trinity atm or the DB version we use on this profile i'm not sure?

Quit Demonbuddy, delete the "CompiledAssemblies" folder and start Demonbuddy again. See if that works.

So far runnin VERY nicely. One time the bot quit at 50% or so... Not sure why. Missed one Guardian loot, got shards tho, dont care.

Getting some "running back where i just was" quit often, pathing issue? Minor problem but may trigger gold-restart.

Bit OT but is there a way to force "combat looting" ? As in something drops, run to it. I play WD so i got time, my summons do 80% of my dps ^^
