Hi!
Planning a resto druid routine for Singular or independent CC for arena (might need to write one from scratch as alot of stop-spell-casting is required for heals 'n counter tactics).
Don't come here and whine about "arena is only reason to play the game" because i totally agree, but i have several PVP characters and why group up with random *cough*retarded*cough* people when i could rather play all alone, instead of dealing with those who have to go cry to their mommy. Anyhow seems like i was whining now
Anyways before i start, id love to hear some tactics, im not talking about human tactics but rather what could / will work with bot. I think the clue is to keep it simple so it does not fukkup, but rather works as it should where arena master has to know some of its limitations.
Build based for instant cast heals. "Reju, Lifebloom, Wild Growth, Swiftmend, Regrowth (when 15% buff running)" in tree form ofc all instant spells are counted.
Shapeshiting when incomming polymorph.
Shapeshift other spells which cause me to get stuck, however with los check towards arena partner. (roots for instance there is no need to shapeshift cause it has no real advantage other then keeping me in one place). Freeze ofc always shapeshifted due to ice lance.
Cyclone a target with specific icon.
Nature's Graps with logic to step away from melee range. (when roots proc, if enemy is melee)
Moonfire and Insect Swarm ofc on Kill target. (to gain the extra 15% haste)
Catform + Prowl at start of the fight. "Surprise element"
Cooldown Logic of some sort, trinkets and other abilities.
Any obvious flaws in this theory? (I have not played much arena yet on my drood, so i cant really use any hands-on knowledge yet, but i pull from my experience from Battleground)
