Ok i know theres other threads out there but wanted to start my own. I just recently got banned from the Dec ban wave. I just bought a new D3 and was wondering what everybody that has restarted or is going to restart, what there going to do with there new account. Will you use your old Bnet account or start new? Does anybody know for sure if old banned Bnet accounts will be watched closer than a new account , and also should i use a different name than i have on my orig bnet account. Just want to know whats the safest way to start back. Thanks

Brand new battle net account, with new emails with random names ( one battlenet acc with Sauron Mckenzie name ) and freshly installed win7. Thats what i did.

No need for all that non-since, he is pulling your chain. Just attach the new account to your old main account thats what i did. The other thread I read a while back all stated the same thing. Out with the old in with the new.

So are you guys getting new phones every time your account gets banned so you can still use the RMAH? Or am I missing something?

Yeah, I'm buying a brand new Samsung Galaxy S3 for every new account I start. I do this for extra security.

im in the same position as you, wondering if an ip change would do any good?

I started 1 with brand new email and everything and the other one i just overlap with the one that got banned on 12/12/2012. Cuz my paypal account is linked to the one that got banned. i will see how that goes.

along with this post, i'm curious as to how much you can bot / play to be as "safe" as you can be while botting. One of the posts says "botting above 8 hours seriously increases your chances of being banned" then others say "24/7 is the way to go." I have two questions regarding this.

a. Anyone have an answer on how much time I should / could bot "safely"? Also using some kind of supporting points would be GREATLY appreciated.

b. Assuming there is a magic number like 8 hours, can i play the game myself along with botting? for example, bot 8 hours and play 6 hours a day. Will it look fishy that the acnt is being played so often? or does none of it have an affect on if they were to ban?

sorry for the weirdly constructed questions, I've just been dying to know

Just adding new game keys to the banned accounts is what I did. Lets see if I get banned any sooner because I'm lazy =)

i always use a new email, name and acc name. My new name is John Jenkins

All these security precauses is just bullshit, dont mind anything and bot 24/7 and enjoy the ride until it stops. All who did security stuff like private profiles, pauses/breaks and botting 5 hours per day and less got banned.
24/7 I TELL YOU!
