totally disagree with that bolded statement, I bot T4 adventures, hell rifts, nepehalem rifts etc... with absolutely no issues whatsoever and no deaths with my WD and I am only average(ish) geared (and only 220 para)
AIO build:
Witch Doctor - Game Guide - Diablo III is the build I use for everything that is NOT single target
(can swap firedogs for leeching, I just choose leeching for guaranteed survival when botting)
ST Build:
Witch Doctor - Game Guide - Diablo III is the build I use for single target or when I am playing
Paragon setup: (post 200)
I) everything into INT
II) everything into Aspd until cap then CHD
III) life regen to cap then resist all
IV) LoH to cap then Area Dmg
Sheet DPS does not affect your pets whatsoever. lol
I just started trying to use my WD more, have never played one in the past.
Joka666 I'm using your single target build and it is working great for me at T2, was dropping him in about 7 seconds. Attempted T4 and just got destroyed by him. My question is with this build what time of gear/elemental damage should I aim for. I have never played a WD usually use three muskateer profile with my Barb but ive seem a lot of people posting good results with a WD as well so wanted to give it a shot. Any advice on this would be great!
Witch Doctor Pet Builds:
All In One build:
Witch Doctor - Game Guide - Diablo III is currently the build I use for botting everything (NOT single target )
(you can swap dogs from leeching to fire if u want more dps, I just choose leeching for guaranteed survival when botting, in adventures/bounties/rifts you have pretty much 100% uptime on Garg & fetish due to the cd reduction of Grave Injustice)
ST Build: (a.k.a 3 muskateers buildwell just Ghom really as that is the best of them for gph and lph and exp for paragon levelling)
Witch Doctor - Game Guide - Diablo III is the build I use for single target or when I am playing rather than DB
GEAR:
you can use these even in green gear tbh, just better gear = higher torment ( although I would advocate botting T1 on any adventure for speed as GPH = LPH imo)
Items you REALLY REALLY WANT to make this build OP are:
1) Mask of Jeram - Game Guide - Diablo III (can have upto 100% pet dmg with this)
2) Tasker and Theo - Game Guide - Diablo III (can have upto 45% pet attack speed with this)
3) if you manage to get Homunculus - Game Guide - Diablo III then drop zombie dogs for Soul Harvest - Game Guide - Diablo III with Vengeful Spirit Rune for even more dps (slight drop in loh healing) but you will never ever run out of dogs because of this mojo
Stats
Attack speed - CC - CHD - INT - VIT
Paragon setup: (post 200)
1) everything into Intelligence
2) everything into Attack speed until cap then Crit Hit Damage
3) life regen to cap then resist all
4) Life on Hit to cap then Area Dmg or reduce resource (your choice)
DPS: You want to aim for as much attack speed as you can stack (affects pets) 40-50% crit chance and as much Crit Hit dmg as possible
Tough: Resist then armor then vit ftw
This Is my build : Witch Doctor - Game Guide - Diablo III
Paragon: 361
Movement Speed : 28 points to get to max Movement Speed 25% , Intelligence 63 Points.
Attack Speed : 8 points to get to break. Crit Hit Damage : 50 points , Crit Hit Change : 32 points.
Resist All : 50 points , Armor 40 Points.
Area Damage : 50 points , Life On Hit 40 points.
This build i can farm T4 rift & Bountys with no deaths with my gear, its not that good.
756k Damage
9.7 mil Toughness
24.5 Healing

750 Mana

Here is the list of breakpoints, if a breakpoint says for example 1.66667 ,
try to have 1.67 attacks per second in your details so you're sure you hit the breakpoint and are not a tiny fraction short of hitting it. Always round up !
I need some setup or something.
Running firebats on a zoo build and running out of mana.
The bot is constantly casting firebats which is good ( it cost nothing but the inital cost) but he keeps repositioning himself about 1/2 step and recasting and of course the recasting is costing mana.
at 300 mana every shuffle of 1 foot this is killing his run times in bounty and rifts.
Do I have something set wrong or do I need to replace firebats with something else or what?
I have changed firebat range from 8 to 20 and no difference.
I know the bot is trying to shift to have target in range or most mobs hit or something but I can play this T3 in my sleep but on T1 the bot can't quit shifting.
If it was killed a pack and moving that would be ok but again he will cast a sharknado and start melting them then shift to the left 1 foot and cast again.
