Hey all.. I am asking for help with a witch doctor build that works for trinity.. The only one I can find on here is rather old.. I am trying different things but it seems trinity is not doing the best as using the skills I pick..

I was wondering if you WD's out there could post your build along with paragon decisions..

I am leaning toward a zoo build they say but the ones I have found are not working well..

Thanks in advance.

Here's what I'm using:

Witch Doctor - Game Guide - Diablo III

Does very well on mana and survivability.

As for Paragon, I use the same points I use for regular play:

- All to Max Mana (though I suppose Int would hit harder for shorter periods)
- All to Attack Speed
- All to Resist All
- All to Life On Hit

I never put much thought into adjusting Paragon. Would be interested to hear other's take on it.

I am fairly low dmg (750k buffed, 450k buffed, 3kk tough, 20k healing) but I breeze through T1&T2 with this build for Adventures

Witch Doctor - Game Guide - Diablo III

P100 and setup as
All to Int, Crit Dmg, Regen & LoH

it is like godmode (I suppose you could go leeching beasts for guaranteed godmode lol)

Profiles such as the Three musketeers I swap a few skills to:

Witch Doctor - Game Guide - Diablo III

melts Ghom in 10-15 secs, kulle in similar time, seigebreaker is slightly longer (prefer ghom and kulle for speed anyway)

If I had better gear (only been playing a week) and higher DPS & tough this would be my faceroll build of choice (drops stuff faster that FO wizard)

Thanks for your responses guys.. I'll be testing out some of these builds tonight..

Thanks GuinessMan/Joka666

I've also been looking for good WD builds for botting, main for adventure mode bounties. I'll try out your suggestions.

the ghom build works really well.

just tried with a freshly dinged 70 WD, bought some gear off of the merchants, opened some horadric caches for gear and can do T1 ghom pretty easily, dies in 15+ seconds usually. with some farming, t4+ should be no problem ;)

I agree. I switched out firebats for pyrogeist also for the free cast.

Voodoo + Fetish army doesnt seem to be active when doing my runs.. is there a setting in trinity im missing?

In my runs too.,fetishes are soo op and he is not using them :( WTF and not even vodoo?? what the hell?

Quite frankly, WD are not really efficient in farming outside the realms of single target profiles...

Hence all the issues that you are probably running into.

I am not really going to post my build as it is only built around the 3 muskateers profile but for PARAGON distribution:

I am at 332 Paragon:

Int, AIS, CHC, ALL RES, LIFE%, Area DMG, RCD.

Figured it out.. Try using Firebats (vampire) / Haunt / Voodoo / Dogs / Gargantuan / Fetish ... itll cast voodoo when it starts firebats

Iam using firebats(vampire), piranha(zombie), big bad voodoo(slam), dogs(burning or leeching), fetish(dagger), garg(wrathful).. pierce the veil, fetish sycophants, jungle fortitude, midnight feast.. And hes burnin down Ghom t5 in seconds.. No special settings at db..

For bounty or Rift farmin switch piranha to piranhado, get spirit walk honored guest instead of big bad voodoo, maybe change garg to humongoid and instead of the passive jungle fortitude get the grave injustice...

totally disagree with that bolded statement, I bot T4 adventures, hell rifts, nepehalem rifts etc... with absolutely no issues whatsoever and no deaths with my WD and I am only average(ish) geared (and only 220 para)

AIO build:
Witch Doctor - Game Guide - Diablo III is the build I use for everything that is NOT single target
(can swap firedogs for leeching, I just choose leeching for guaranteed survival when botting)

ST Build:
Witch Doctor - Game Guide - Diablo III is the build I use for single target or when I am playing :)

Paragon setup: (post 200)
I) everything into INT
II) everything into Aspd until cap then CHD
III) life regen to cap then resist all
IV) LoH to cap then Area Dmg

logs seem weird though. gettig over 1.2B/h xp mass gold and good lph

What plug in gives you the option to post these stats?

Will try your build today :), how about your stats? i have 1,2mil dps and 6mil tough with 18k healing.,no specific items yet:( looking for jeram and sets for pets :)

running on T1 if no deaths will be switching to higher.,

Now it seems i have mana problem for your build :( how much mana regen is necessary? :)

the 1st build you should have no mana issues with at all (I only have 750k dps,7mill tough,22k heal and breeze through t4)
the 2nd build is the one I run personally for adventures/rifts or on bot for ghom/kulle (ghom being the better of the 2 tbh)

mana is touch and go at times on 1st build you just need to be clever when using it (bot is fine with it on ghom and never oom and it casts garg, bbv then just stands still on bat spam)

It seems i have problem with a lot of moving around.,he just dont stay at place and cast bats (As i would) but run a lot and every cast of bats is very expensive :( any solution howe to say bot to stand and wait after my little group kill them all? :D

set 20y for vampire bats

also on ghom i noticed that bot runs towards him and got hit by melle, which my pets should receive :(
