Request sticky

Is there anyway to have a sticky thread on bug reports, or way to know what has been reported.
Might stop some repeated type threads started. Can go there, see .. ok that problem is known. I dont need to post another about it.
Maybe as go by, check off whats fixed. A to do list like.

I would still like to be able to see what has been changed. There might some great new feature I dont know about that I could be using.
