I will just point out that we a lacking profiles for leveling profs from 1-450 in Cata. The maps has changed, and therefore new profiles are needed. For example the horde skinning profiles doesnt work right anymore, because of the map changes in barrens.

I second this, I really want some new profiles for herb and mining.

Why dont you try to make them yourself? there are alot of good guides on how to do it.
The more people making profile, the more options we all have in the end :)

Now that we can fly in the old zones I don't know why anyone would want to use HB over GB for herbing and mining. I don't even bother trying to level a toon under 60 in herb or mining because it's so fast to do 1-300 with GB and a flying profile that I just grind out 1-60 with HB and then spend less then a day maxing out gathering professions with GB. Skinning profiles take almost no time or effort to make with HB and there are new skining profiles available on these boards if you look for them.

mining and herbing are pointless to do 1-450 on HB now that you can fly everywhere. I just did herbing 1-525 in around 4 hrs total because of flying.

which places did u go.. ? I would do myself if i knew the exact places..

This is certainly not useless - I will be needing it to herb while waiting for queues on my alts.

Have you people asking for profiles even looked into learning how to make your own? It's not hard. I have almost 10 private profiles that I use and I refuse to put out do to not wanting them to get over farmed. But try it. It's all in the wiki section and http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/4250-how-create-profile-hb2.html.

I use to create my own profiles and share them, i also use to create them for others when asked. Its called a community because people share. For someone to say they dont share and at the same time tell people to people to use a wiki to learn is a little bit prickish. Its a profile section, meaning people share their work, why cant people request profiles to be made without getting told a dozen times in one thread not to ask and to learn them selves? I am pretty sure there are no rules against asking (though in saying that there is also no rules against non-community oriented jackasses telling people to learn stuff either).

Point im obviously trying to make if it was not apparent is, if you have nothing to input regarding the question (and telling someone to learn how to do it themselves is not constructive if they are making a request) then maybe you should be polite enough not to belabor the point of self learning etc. Go through a half a dozen request threads and see how many times people say "learn it". Its friggin ridiculous.

i agree with ceduna there is nothing wrong in asking. i also notice people behind a keyboard think they become keyboard warriors and bring down the ones that genuinley ask for help. I aint targeting but have you ever thought they tried because i have and it just doesn't stick as i have so much r/l work to do learning how to write profiles seems quite complex in my eyes. I admit i am not so technical with computers, so lay off off them unless they are genuiley rude and not trying.

I'm working on a Herbalism one, will be finished soon after I finish leveling Herbalism myself. Will be meant for an 85 Horde Character, though.

I wasn't trying to be a asshole about it. But I don't put out my work for many reasons the main being if they get over farmed then I lose out on gold and then that makes me loose out of RL cash. If it was a leveling profile I would gladly put it out. But there are so many there really isn't a point. And I had to learn to make my own profiles so why shouldn't other people? I understand that we are a community but for the ones of us who make real money in this, private profiles are the key to making it.

Thats just what I think on it. Alot of people who don't make RL cash on the game could feel different.

i released my cataclysm 1 - 525 skinning profiles that i used to level my skinning to 525 so im now finished with my skinning and released it for everyone else to use and enjoy.

The people that generally say learn how to do it themselves usually have a good reason behind saying this. I know I do...

1). Prevents overcrowding of a area thus less in-game money for the collector.
2). Probably waiting for the Paid Plugin/Feature section to be implemented in the future and saving their good stuff till then?
3). When people get banned from running a profile that ALOT of people run generally cry in the forums about being banned and say HB/GB is crap. The sad truth is other botters will REPORT people its sad but a fact.
4). If for some reason the profile is broken they know how to fix it themselves *** IF *** they can't wait for the author to release an updated version. Instead of spamming the forums with QQ post. God the amount of crap/bitching that the CC devs get in there release post makes me cry and feel sorry for them.
5). The people complaining about lack of profiles generally tend to never give back to the community as in more profiles/etc...
6). You PAID for the bot and the default profiles/CC that come with it. Everything else is user/community donated as a privilege not a right.

It takes a whole 5 mins to write a grinding/ground type collection profile using just Apoc's program or highvoltz click to hotspot plugin. The developers and the many authors here have given anyone the tools and sample profiles/templates to help themselves.

1,3 and 4 are the main reason why I do not release any profiles I make. Hence why to date I haven't been banned yet.
