[Request] HasteFrost DK PvE DPS CC

I've already PM'd Weischbier about his Necrophilia - Advanced CC, and also about his website, but I got an automated reply back saying he was away.

What I'm requesting is what the title of the post says, and that is a HasteFrost DK PvE DPS CC. I don't use MasterFrost, nor do I want to. There are lots of CCs for that laying around, and even CLU goes with MasterFrost. Sadly, there was only one CC that supported HasteFrost, and that was the one by Weischbier. Would any of you developers happen to have a CC for that, or would you be willing to make one? I really don't want to replace my already existing gear (378+ iLevel items) with gear that's for MasterFrost.

yes the gear may have more haste then mastery but lets face it if you want haste go to unholy..

Nah. I just won't get the maximum value from my DK then. I refuse to go MasterFrost, and I also refuse to go Unholy. I hate micromanaging a pet for one, and two I like DW when doing dps. Also, not to mention, I just plain hate Unholy. I tried it for all of two days and saw it was inferior to Frost unless sporting the axe from DS, which I don't have.
 
^^ i hate unholy too .. may push a bit more dps overall but still not good for me.. but i cant see why not go masterfrost instead of hastefrost.. you are still doing the same.. well except focusing more on howling blast and froststrike and making obliterate for runic generation
 
Zeldrak all you gotta do is change h usage to only reapply debuff when it has say 3 sec left and only hit hb when time procs. That set of hb rules should still be higher in the rotation before obliterate. As far as the obliterate goes you need to have 2 pairs of fr+unholy or 1 of them with a death runes or 2 death runes.

I still refuse to use honorbuddy for anykind of raiding dps rotations but you can look me up on Ownedcore in the Pqr thread. I have all 3 rotations haste(titled as just "frost"), masterfrost, unholy. All 3 profiles in clue a hockey to pause rotation, hotkey for dnd placement and fire at moreover, set hagara as focus and it will dsim shatter ice or w/e that spell is once you see it copied manually click/press the action button. Also, all 3 include a trash profile( will only fire off pillars of i forget) and will not use your ghoul or erw.

I'm not going to say which is better or worse but here are a few numbers:

MasterFrost(DW): 46,660DPS
Basic Frost(DW): 46,674DPS
ShadowFrost(DW): 46,932DPS
Basic Unholy(2H): 49,376DPS

The above was with full heroic sets, Unholy going full haste and the Frost's going haste or mastery or nothing at all... The numbers for frost will rotate here and there but Unholy will always get the cake on this one. Now for which style is best? Depends on your gear, if your gear sucks then some of these will drastically change...

First off, I wish I would have seen the replies, but generally things get buried in this community so fast due to all the posts and comments. I just happened to find this when I was scrolling through old posts.

Secondly, I know that Unholy will get better numbers (for the most part), especially in eng game gearing. However, I just don't like playing Unholy. Honestly, I've tried it on more than several occasions. From the very first time DKs were introduced in Wrath, I have hated Unholy spec. I loathe micromanaging a pet, except on a hunter. I don't know why, and it's something I can't explain. For DPS I much prefer DW Frost. As for Basic, Haste, Shadow, or Master (I only know the difference between Master and Haste, and I have no clue what the difference between Basic and Shadow are), I prefer Haste because it's more forgiving and less rigid. I've read up on Haste and Master, and unless a certain Mastery rating is reached with MasterFrost, then HasteFrost will always win out. I, if memory serves me correctly, have not reached the mark yet to choose MasterFrost. I have no tier 13 pieces, and am not even in tier12 heroic items. My DK is only geared in JP/VP items, and the random 378s from HoT dungeons. I appreciate the numbers, and I also can appreciate everyone's opinions on the choices of Frost playstyle, but I prefer HasteFrost overall, that's just how I like to play. I understand that I'm not going to get the most from my DK by doing this. And, I suppose I will just have to accept the fact that there will be no HasteFrost CC made until Weischbier finishes his work on his CC, which will support all types of DK, including HasteFrost.
 
If u use it for farming or dungeons ... use singular and u will be fine
if u wanna raid ... collect new gear for MasterFrost / Unholy or regem for one of these two.

Every CC which plays Masterfrost for u, will manage ur Haste built and gear.
The difference between Haste and Masterfrost is the time HB is used cause it hits harder, but for haste it does not matter if u first fire HB or OB, the results should be the same in dps.

Both a very flexible for mistakes done by the player himself, so it does not matter if u wanna play MF or Haste

Shadowfrost is the specc u'll choose when 2 Howling Blasts will do more Damage than 1 Obliterate (this is mostly for AOE situations the case, so u won't choose this in any case ...)

Basic is the specc u want to have (Haste Built)

P.S. CLU does still support Haste ;), i took a look into the code and YES it supports Masterfrost, but from the arrangement of the spells and the condition Haste should do viable damage too with CLU.

Ah, I didn't know that. I haven't really played DPS in a while on my DK because of all that that I said earlier. I just found it easier, and less stressful, to switch to blood and tank from time to time. When I'm not on my DK playing, I'm just using it to farm things. Singular does handle the farming really well, and plays blood really well. At least for farming, that is. I'll give CLU a spin when I switch back to DPS, but for now the DK is collecting dust and stretching its legs to farm.
