I'm generally all about completion... some achievements, say, Golden saucer ones, I simply can't be bothered with..)
The achievement "Lifer III" is ridiculous, but we can complete it pretty quickly with some automation and a decent plugin, I imagine.

The achievement requires that you complete 10,000 instanced dungeons, raids, or trials.

The plugins concept is very simple, at level 60, the original Ifrit fight is a joke. Most decently/well geared 60's should be able to take him out in about 30 seconds. If we could get a script to automate this fight, we could grind up Lifer 1/2/3 achievements, something essentially nobody is ever going to do legit.

Thoughts, comments, concerns, objections?

To be drastically blunt, said scripting is not something I'm capable of doing myself as it stands, I mostly wanted to see what the interest level was.

Haha, I definitely agree! There should be a title, maybe a glam item or something, too.
Does this sound like something RB has the capability to implement? The bot may not even have to move inside the zone, depends on how away ifrit is, if it could reach, we could quite possibly just use the DF menu to exit, too.
 
After having farmed, 6 Relic Weapons, all 3 Tank mounts, and countless toon gearing from Turn 6-9 & 10-13 I have 8,933 completed Dungeons, Raids or Trials, You just need to play more.

RebornBuddy/Plugins/Tags , This should work. I put it in RebornBuddy/Plugins/Duty Finder. As long as it's in a folder within the plugins folder, it should load.

IIRC, OrderBotTags is a user-created folder typically stored at RebornBuddy/Plugins/OrderBotTags. This would serve the same function that I specified above.
 
I'm just wondering how long it would have to farm Ifrit normal to get all 10,000. I'm only at about 1000 myself right now as I'm absolute shit about running extremes and raids because I refuse to deal with morons in PF and half of those are probably from light farming for two zodiac zetas. Yeesh.

Think it'd be at all possible for something like this to be made to work for the tank mount things? Say Titan Extreme where the tank basically stands in one spot and hits stuff. Especially with how there are warriors (and I've heard a few DRKs) who can do enough damage and self healing to solo this unsynced. It could also probably work for garuda. Tank her at the rock until a certain percent and then drag her to the exact opposite side of the circular arena where it's safe.

I imagine with a couple of pathing codes (It could navigate similar to how it moves around to fates and nodes, yeah?) and a combat profile centered on keeping yourself healed and zekken on to not stand in something like weight of the land, that'd be a whole hell of a lot better than getting it spamming alexander or pony farms with people who take constant pee breaks and drag it out like crazy.

It might be a little pie in the sky, but think it's doable?

It depends on your gear/zone speed/etc, but it's about 6 days to do it from 0-10,000. I've just about finished.

Generally speaking, anything is possible with programming, so it's very likely that it is possible to make a profile or plugin that can handle stuff like that. On the other hand, it's super unrealistic, Extreme's are still like, basically impossible to solo (don't believe me? try it.) Titan uses gaols, so he's instantly out of the question Garuda and Ifrit have unrealistic solo DPS checks, incredibly unlikely. Unfortunately, for the 200's, you'd be best trying to farm coil probably, I'm guessing T4 specifically would be the easiest, and I can't imagine that going well solo.
 
I also thought you had to have a full party of 8 to earn credit toward the mounts in those raids, unless they changed something.
 
People who I would expect to know have mentioned warriors being able to at least do titan. I doubt he does gaol with one person, just like many npcs with abilities like that won't use when there's only one person because it cant be used on highest threat target.

You do not need the full party, just a place intended for full parties. It was just a thought. Then again, if you had several people with bots willing to go in and do it, it becomes very easy. As for t4, I believe that was removed in the most recent update on what places count. It's currently any extreme mode primal, any turn of binding coil except the elevator, and any heavensward 8 person place, i think. not 100% on hard bismarck/ravana/thordan

I tried to solo Titan EX on my WHM. I got facerolled so hard. I can't imagine a warrior having that much better luck.
 
well, full strength accessories in all 200+ gear with a one minute heal that's 1200 potency with strength scaling plus the other heal+max hp. I imagine it's a lot of stance dancing, but several different people from high level raiding stuff have mentioned it.

Then again, it could just be a rumor. When I get my warrior stuff up to par (I picked the wrong tank class) I'm gonna try this to see how hard I get shit on

I would also be interested to see how I do, I still need to unlock skills on a lot of the classes... >.>;
 
I'd like to add this works wonderfully for those farming lights for zeta. (10 per Mahatma)
 
How do I edit this profile to farm a guildhest for commendations? I really want that parade chocobo. It would be cool if it also did a "Hello" chat macro and "Thanks for the party" at the end.
