Request: Blood dk aoe CC

As a blood dk I feel none of the CCs currently listed are that good at it. I'm basically trying to find a cc that will death and decay, dot up a target, pestilence, then blood boil spam.

I have no idea how to do it or I would :( I think it'd increase the power leveling abilities of that profile by a good 30%

The closest thing you'll find is Singular. That's what I use to run that profile and it works out great. The only thing I miss is blood boil. It doesn't cast blood boil at all. I don't know why. It's not even in the code to use it. But, all in all, it goes all out and works pretty well, in my opinion.

Ya which blows cuz when blood boil is speced it 2 shots the whole pack. I feel like I'd get an extra 1000 kills an hour if it used bloodboil

Yeah. The only other CC I could suggest is CLU. It tanks, and has movement, but Singular was made more for survivability. I use both of them. I generally just alternate depending on what I'm doing. They both work well enough to get the job done, but as you say, my KPH don't break 800, and I'm ilvl 385 on my blood tank. I feel like it's because blood boil isn't being used. I've posted it in the Singular thread already.

800 is insanely low.. are you looting? I get 1950~ without looting using singular full cata though

Why do you think that singular is better than clu when it come to survivavility?
have you compared both rotations?
or it is just a feeling?

Yes, I'm using that RAF profile to farm frostweave cloth for my tailor, so I left the bot kill them, then loot, then move to the next group to kill and loot. I also sell, or DE, the blues and greens that drop. The greys make gold, and also the money from the corpses add up. I'm doing the "Nickel and Dime" thing, trying to make some gold while I farm to raise my professions on my newest 85.

I've noticed that CLU runs to try and get top DPS, or to be mana conscious, or to try and hold aggro the best. Basically, it goes balls out to try and be the best at the spec it's being used for. Singular was made with leveling in mind, which means that it's going to do more to stay alive. It's programmed with different rotations, and different options to set health percentages, you can set defensive "Oh Shit!" CDs for certain health percentages, etc. It's geared for survivability while CLU is geared for performance.

Well, I appreciate the plugin being written, but the issue with using that is that it would interfere with runes. I wouldn't be able to do certain things if it was constantly firing off BB, using up all my blood runes. I believe, on another Blood DK CC, it was coded into the tanking rotation and it was fired off appropriately, and I think on certain procs, which didn't use up runes. I will try the plugin though, next time I go farming on my DK, to see how it works out.

Don't get me wrong, I do use CLU. I use it often. However, there are certain situations where I prefer one CC over another. For each class that has multiple working CCs, I often use them all for different situations. Why? Because each CC performs better than another in a different situation. It's hard for me to explain, but I find that in some situations Singular does better than CLU, and vice versa. I have quite a few CCs that I use with HB, unfortunately, because it causes HB to slow down on loadup, but I have to do that because there's not just one CC that rules them all. They all have their goods and their bads.

there is a good reason why clu is doing better dps than Singular and that is singular using heart strike more than needed which eat death rune and reduce survivavility on some cases where you need the death rune to cast Death strike.

about the cds you know that you can easily do that to clu to by editing blood.cs?
and when you talking about leveling clu is doing fine too i have used clu to level my dk and i did not notice anything wrong with it except that I think it will be a nice to add pulling with DG while questing which is not that major thing and I dont think it will be hard to tweak the cc to use it. and about rotation, you know we are talking about a tank cc dont you ? so i dont know what more survivability raotion that can be mad for solo? maybe if you are talking about dps rotation for tank maybe you are right but i dont think Singular gets that too.
