how was your win/loss ratio?
@Trichomer
How do you get your bot to heal you? when I use my Shaman as healer in Arena it constally puts on earthshield, which means it oom in like 20sec.
I use RAF and ShamWow .... and configueret it to healing.
What do I do wrong? do I need some plugins ?
It's probally doable, but what CC is better then a real human in pvp? NONE
A well written AI should be better then most humans in pvp. It would be faster and could calculate things better.
Case in point, computers can beat the world champions at chess - and chess is a little more complex than wow pvp
There's plenty of 'just for points' teams that don't really care about winning. some just stand around and dance. if you have alts that you want to get 10 games in or dont care about rating then something like this would be pretty easy to make. Just have the bot accept queue, zone in. start dancing, throwing out some random emotes, jump around, or w/e.
could even have bots go naked to make it go faster :/

really?
Can a computer calculate if an opponent will counterspell something?
Will a computer be able to fake cast? Will it foresee a switch onto them?
Can it line of sight effectively? Will it know when to go offensive or defensive?
potentially, yes.
That's ridiculous. So a computer can "potentially" calculate the outcome of the match right as it starts?
Humans are unpredictable and make mistakes. A bot will have no way of knowing a mistake somebody is about to make.
How would it know if a player is about to blanket counterspell or if they're saving it for an interrupt? How would it be able to know if their opponent are going to switch targets?
These things are all processed in the human mind and are not based off of statistics and numbers
You're talking about maybe the top 5% of the arena players? Most arena players are now just the average TB Bridge Exploiting nub...they're not gonna be thinking at this high of level...they'll be spamming their castsequences.
IMO, as long as a bot heals and dispels properly, you'd do well enough to go 50/50, enough to get your weapons and a few pieces while you're waiting for your 5v5 team to come online. I don't think anyone here is asking to become a gladiator with the bot...this would attract way too much attention anyway even if it was possible.
