I'm a douche and made a ticket about someone botting, had my reasons.
This is what I got in reply. (I put in bold, the important? part)
Hey there!
Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention.I wanted to assure you that I have personally investigated and taken all appropriate action against the account you reported and explain a little bit about how we handle these.
"Botters" come in two forms: Compromised ("Hacked") accounts, and players that use 3rd party programs to gain an advantage in-game.
For Compromised accounts, we take immediate action to secure the owners account and restore the account to its previous state prior to the exploitive access. The account owner is notified, and the account is traditionally locked until that player takes steps to unlock the account.
For everyone else, please refer to our hacks team! You can reach them at Blizzard Entertainment:Submit:Hacks Report. Fill out the form they ask you to complete and they will look into things.
When we discover that an account is not compromised and we verify that players are using these ?botting? programs to gain a distinct in game advantage, the process can be a little more complicated. We take great pains to gather information and identify the specific program that's being used. To prevent the creators of these programs from discovering that we've begun to decipher the code that they're using, individual accounts will normally go unactioned - at first. Once we've identified a sure fire way to isolate the accounts that are using these programs at a glance, we will take action against all of these accounts at once. This method of banning offending accounts enables us to effectively shut down an entire program used for exploitation (preventing any further exploitation using that specific program).
