Reported for botting?

I was in a bg and when i got back from botting, Someone said they reported me for botting and they said that 5 other people "reported" me as well What are the chances. Now what if 6 people actually DID report me? Would blizzard still investigate? or just instantly ban me because of the "6 reports"? What if i didnt bot anymore for the next little while? I just need to know what im expecting

is it true that if they catch u botting the first time they wont "premantly" ban you? that they may just warn u or ban you for a short period?

Usually with botting its a ban, but if its not in a banwave if you dispute it they turn it into a 72 hour ban. Never bot on an account your not prepared t lose

Will they ban permantly right away and never give u a chance? Or will they just ban for a few days or weeks?

From what I've seen people tend to receive a 72 hour ban for their first offense if they are botting in such a way which doesn't effect other people (questing for example) and if you do receive a perm you can just appeal it to a 72 hour.

My Suggestion.. Get your gold on another account ASAP and any other assets.
