You have to start the quest chain from Elder Anli. Once you finish that, then you will be able to randomly loot the eggs and turn them in to Elder Anli as well.

great profile, fresh account [ie no commendation thing] went from no rep to exalted in less than 4hrs [i was lucky enough enough to have a server restart, when i zone in i got 14eggs in like 2 mins :P]

works great though sometimes it doesnt loot the eggs or takes 15-20secs to pick them up
 
This will proberly work with the latest rarekiller all do haven't tested it yet.

hey guys

my character tends to just stand next to the eggs when detected and dosent loot them?

Im using singular combat profile with BG2 and just RK2 enabled on a hunter

Any settings that need changing? im setup as the OP stated and no other plugins enabled
 
Just downloaded it, its working great as of today. Scared the hell out of me when the siren went off though because i had my music up loud and everything LOL. But it found 2 eggs within 3min of running. I could have sworn i farmed them all. Lol great profile!

I am having this same problem, I double checked this thread to make sure I installed it properly..can't seem to troubleshoot it myself
 
Worked great got 12 eggs in 30mins.... than nothing for 2 hours hahah. Also it has an issue sometimes with eggs near the egg of the mountains.... I fell to my death about 3 times before I just manually went and got it.
 
After a bit of investigation, I got this to work with RareKiller3. Just make sure if you SVN install it that you go to /Plugins/Rarekiller/config and unpack ConfigFiles.zip in to the /Plugins/Rarekill/config folder. I don't know if this was a mistake on the author's part.

Had 9 Eggs in the first 10 minutes... then another 9 over the next hour and a half. 9900 Rep in about 2 hours!!!!

You pribably got banned for spinning around like a fool. I use this scriot but always watch it. Its finiky
 
Does it have to be rarekiller2? Cause the bot doesn't seem to go deep enough to look for the onyx eggs... some guy farming with has found 11... where I've only found 4... in the past hour. Does rarekiller2 need to be updated or something?
 
The eggs are rare somtimes you will find loads in an hour other times you find an few.

Run it late at night server time. You'll be the only one out there practically. 1 or 2 spawn every 15 to 20 minutes. It's been suggested that only 2 will be out at once... not sure that is true. But running late night - I picked up 16-18 in less than an hour. I only picked up 3 in a 2 hour period earlier that day (4 people farming them). Wowhead is your friend if you want the low down on all the locations to mix in some manual farming. Some tight spots - be careful due to unstucks, and ppl did whisper me a few times.
 
Can someone finally make one that doesnt collect that stupid dirt?

I cant loot the dirt, so it just gets stuck at the fakin dirt
