Remove AFK BGs!

Having bought another un-named bot right after we got hit with the ban wave, I can tell you that the other one will do AKF BG's all day long. So until every bot company is on the same page regarding the AFK aspect of it, we will always have an eye on us.

Just to be clear to all of you that sent me Pm's asking for the other bot, I WILL NOT TELL YOU! Not only is that beyond disrespectful to Bossland and the HB team. But it shows how lazy you really are that you can't even do a google search.

And Yes, I get the irony of me saying that somebody asking a botter for the name of another bot is lazy.....

I would bet good money that these sycophantic cock-suckers have actually tried using bots in arena, but they are so terrible at it that even with the best crs HB had to offer they were still stuck at 1200 rating, so now they are happy arenas have been disabled, but god forbid anyone suggests removing battlegrounds as well.

You're amusing. Removing BGBuddy isn't going to get rid of AFK bots in BGs. And no, they aren't competitive, because there is no rating, no ladder, no point. BGs are for gear, period.

You disable arena with some kind of vague expl but you continue to let your biggest aggro magnet continue.
it makes no sense whatsoever and just makes the "remove arena" part a complete joke.

All I do in wow is pvp. I only used my bot to level new toons and do extra quests.

Having bots in arenas ruined the atmosphere of the environment.

The same is true for BGs. I guarantee the individuals saying bgs are just for gear NEVER get top dps, fbs, or healing. Many people use bgs as a way to get better / learn the class / learn the playstyle.

Bgs are fun, but when you add bots into the mix there is no fun in the bgs. I don't feel like I'm really winning or outplaying the enemy.

It truely would improve the wow community as a whole if the only thing allowed in bgs was CR.

Yeah I support it, as a business decision. It is BL' s call and who am I (or you, or anyone for that matter) to call him on it. It facinates me, the reaction to this decision. Me? Meh, not my problem, so you do you. Realistically, I'm in this for myself (and my guildies). My banned account had over 160k gold that I had farmed for. AH can be kind to JCs sometimes...

I can also understand arena botters ire. Take away afk bottting from everything. Take PvP support out period. I don't care. Just leave me CRs and I'm good. I have carpal tunnel (and I'm adhd) so I have issues with repetative button-pushing...

Botting's only getting more popular as the crowd that's been playing the game for years is looking for an easier way to complete the monotonous tasks that wow contains, including gearing up for pvp.

Not at all, don't make assumptions mate, I never stated somewhere that wow died, wow diddn't die and won't die for a while.
What i said is, that botting is dying, lets be honest, they are implementing new stuff to detected bots etc, im sure you will agree with me some day.

Of course they implement new anticheat measures. It's their job. But there will always be someone to reverse engineer any AC proggie (VAC, PB, Warden). Botting won't die as long as there are games to bot....

And as I pointed out, botting is as strong as ever. Just because there was 1 banwave, it doesn't mean botting is even remotely close to dying. These forums are every bit as active as they've always been, and as the thread in question points out, there's still plenty of botting going on.

You forgot to mention that every tom dick and harry are making bots for Wow, since blizzard and the media have given a huge exposure to botting in Wow so that every real player knows what to look for and report. Something is coming up at the end of the year from blizzard. Might even be a new anti cheating system, why else would they only ban for 6 months. That makes 0 sense, this was just a warning to everyone who uses hb you have one last chance on that account.

Ive never been banned in my whole entire life of botting until that last banwave so they are working on something, risk in botting is high but even higher now. People cant face the fact that blizzard got off their butt due to losing the court case so they need to tackle hb another way.

Nevertheless, some good points raised. People are kidding themselves, thinking that if/when PVP/ARENA is removed that they will be safe...

Its obvious the bot is not safe at all, if they banned anyone who used it at all(no matter what it was used for).
I highly doubt an update to tripwire will do anything (Tripwire is most effective in reaction to an event, doesn't really do anything to prevent....)

no no if you read my success thread I got lucky with glider but my friends did not they all got banned back then.

Actually, I'm 2200 rated. I am not happy Arenas are removed, because I'm not good at Arena. I miss the function. I just see where Bossland is coming from. I hope it gets added back, but I doubt it. And bitching about it isn't going to change anything. Removing BGBuddy isn't going to fix anything, either.

So, how exactly am I a hypocrite? The reality is you all keep calling yourself PVPers and crying about how the "fanboys" are against the PVPers. If you need the bot to be relevant in Arena, can you even really call yourself a PVPer?
